This is the kind of place where you can get a hot meal in suburbs of Connecticut, but don’t expect gourmet Thai food.

We all got a small soup at the beginning of the meal, which was a bit confusing because no one explained what it was to us (and we didn’t order it) and the soup itself was a bit disappointing and flavorless.

The appetizer was the best part of the meal. We got the sampler and it was yummy and the display was pretty.

I got Tom yum soup with rice noodles and the broth was a bit flavorless and the contents were lacking as well. But I was hungry so I still devoured it and was happy and grateful for my meal.

I’m used to NYC prices but the menu prices were even a bit more expensive than what I’m usually paying.

Was passing through town and this place popped up with good reviews so I figured I’d order pick- up. I ordered the Fresh Rolls with Shrimp and peanut sauce on the side…. could’ve been much better but there was barely no shrimp and an abundance of salad spring mix. I’ve never had Fresh Rolls like this before where it was mostly salad… I could not taste any cilantro, mint or Basil which is traditional ingredients in this recipe. The Chicken Wings were good and crispy. Overall experience was subpar. Customer service was not very friendly and I had to ask for napkins for my to- go order.

Angry woman who was working today at 4:30 was terrible. Not only was she terrible as a server. No sauce then would slam everything down. No napkins. When went up to pay and get Togo containers, I asked for 1 Togo and cup for her frozen drink. I got 2 food containers. When I was asking for Togo container. She assumed I wanted the pho but did not. I also paid with a credit card while up there. As a retired Chef most tipped employees prefer cash. I wrote CASH in tip line. When she brings Togo cup is when she decided to ask how the food was. Not before when we were eating it. It was okay. Her English wasn’t great so I didn’t know what she was asking. Tip never came to mind. Then she finally said service or something. I asked tip? YEAH NLAH BLAH BLAH. I said again I wrote cash. This is all going on in from of my daughter I just picked up from New Haven children’s hospital. Great experience you rude rude lady.

Pad Thai was okay. Pho noodles broken because they were cold and stuck together. Had to ask for hoisin sauce and it was clearly from the dry exposed stuff from a large can. Gross again.

So after all that no she did not got a tip.

Rude and can’t read or speak English. That should be reason enough not to ask about a tip before leaving. Even with terrible service and a rude server, I was still tipping. The credit card slip said C A S H. That usually means they will leave cash. We were literally the only 2 people eating inside.

Too bad the male
Server who was just coming on reads English. When I showed him the slip he said “cash”. So again be rude

The food is always amazing. Although the customer service is terrible, it’s not something I’d poorly rate just because it is more of a to-go restaurant. The drunken noodle, fresh rolls, and massamon curry are my favorite dishes. Highly recommend if you enjoy Thai food. Of the SEVERAL Thai places in Guilford, this is the best one, I promise.

Did take out. Pad Thai was reheated, shrimp totally overcooked, noodles stuck together, almost no veggies aside from a few bean sprouts and carrot shreds. The appetizers were horrible- the scallion pancake not at all like a pancake, inedible, and the spring rolls had been sitting, not crispy, not flavorful.

We stopped at iThai (because we really enjoy Thai cuisine) on our way thru headed to DC. Upon entering we were rushed by a server telling us they close in 30 min. We said we would stay ans not be long as we had to continue on our travels. The server handed us menus but didnt say much. We quickly tries to choose items that would not take long. Unfortunately the food we chose was not like what we had been used to by other Thai restaurants. Hopefully it was just a bad day. Next time I’ll pass this one up.
