I first discovered this place on a cold winter night when I was looking for a hot meal. The facade did not look like much, but the name was appealing. I decided to take a chance. I am so glad that I did. Having traveled to Italy, and having experience firsthand the authentic bolognese sauce, I am always looking for it here in the states. I have only found something on par at two locations. This is one of them. This is an authentic meat sauce that has been slow. Cooked with all the right ingredients. You can see the tiny little pieces of onion, carrots, and celery that have been cooked down. They serve it in huge portions and you can get it on top of most any pasta style. You might have to ask for it, but they will do it. The the staff is great from the owner, to the kitchen staff, to our waitress. Once I discovered this place, I have taken several friends to eat there. It is the most authentic, delicious, Italian food that you will find in North Georgia. Don’t take my word for it. Go try for yourself. You’ll be going back, I promise! Hats off to this wonderful little restaurant.

This is by far the best Italian food I have ever had. I have eaten Italian dishes all over this country. Boston, Chicago, and many other locations. To think this hidden gem in Commerce Ga. would be so good. We each got different dishes. If I go to any Italian restaurant, I always order the lasagna as that is my standard to judge the restaurant on. I was brought a huge portion, and the smell was over the top. I dug in and fell IN LOVE. It was by far the best lasagna I have ever eaten. I shared a couple of forks full with my wife as she got the ravioli, and it was just as amazing. I got the feeling it was going to be good as we went at lunch and the place was packed even so we got seated quickly and the staff was so very friendly. If you ever happen to be in Commerce, Ga, stop in and eat at this amazing restaurant, and if you live in the Atlanta area, make it a point to drive there. The prices are also amazing for the quality and quantity of food you receive. We even got a big pizza to go for dinner tonight. ITALY’S PIZZA & PASTA COMPANY IS OFFICIALLY 100% BIG YETI APPROVED. I will be back sooooon.

10/02/2024 Dinner. Delicious marinara! Pizza was enjoyable but dry. I had to ask for some extra sauce which they gave me free of charge. A demerit for dirty walls and air conditioning vents, but overall, good food worth trying. My wife enjoyed her baked ravioli and only saved me one ravioli bc she was full.
Our meal was better than expected.
My first impressions:
Excellent: Uniquely satisfying.
V Good: Better than expected.
Avg: An everyday, good meal.
Fair: Below par. Dirty & or flies.

Drove an hour to try it. It did not disappoint! Talked to the owner, he cooks and makes everything homemade. It’s a small place in an old building in downtown Commerce. We will definitely be back!was a great find!

This place is Bussin! Hubby and I stopped for lunch after a short Braves trip!! Its a small vintage feel to it. The gentleman taking our order was helpful and kind. We got lunch specials. Slice and a salad and a calzone. They bring out free bread and olive oil drip!! I got a pepperoni slice which was delicious the bottom crust WASNT burnt and the pizza itself wasn’t dry and hard to eat! The salad had lettuce, small tomato and green olives. The house is a dark vinegarette. Just enough to compliment the size of the pizza. The calzone was cooked just right and had enough fresh sauce to dip. My hubby subed meatballs with fresh garlic and it was great choice. It was a great taste with it and we weren’t charged extra or told no substitutes. The restaurant itself was clean and small but, excessable. The tea was sweetened just right and you could tell the leaves didnt taste burnt. Was just a really great food and great experience. We will definetly be back..

We enjoyed the food. We did not get pizza, but it looked delicious. We got two different meals. When was chicken Alfredo with shrimp added and the other was spaghetti and meatballs! Phenomenal! In our opinion, it tasted very close to homemade if not homemade. If you aren’t exceptionally hungry, then you might want to share one of the meals with someone if you are there with someone, because they give you a lot of food for dinner! We ate half our food and still had plenty left half or more is what appeared and we ended up taking to go plates with us. I suggest sharing or getting a pizza to share. The food really was wonderful and the service was great!

Just passing thru Commerce, so it was our 1st visit to Italy’s Pizza and Pasta. The wonderful aroma of Italian spices hit the nose as you walk in. You will order at the counter and then take a seat. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The hot toasted bread paired perfectly with the olive oil and herbs. Our table of 4 had manicotti, lasagna, 2 types of calzones, and 2 salads. The lunch portions are generous, with thick meat layers between each lasagna noodle layer. The kitchen staff were friendly, and the restroom (one) was clean. It was a great stopover on our trip.

A friend told us this was a GREAT place and they weren’t wrong. Between 4 of us we tried a little of everything: pizza, pasta, breads, salads and soup. It was all piping HOT and extremely delicious. Service was helpful, friendly and VERY attentive. Free street parking and easy access. Comfortable dining area. Clean restrooms.

The food is amazing. Just amazing. Mozzarella sticks were perfect, son said chicken parmigiana was the best he’s ever had, garlic knots were so so garlicky and buttery and soft and fluffy, stromboli was fantastic according to husband. Would absolutely come again when next in town. Stromboli was $11, chicken parmigiana was $13.50, mozzarella sticks $9.25, garlic knots $5.50. With how much food costs these days that’s very reasonable for amazing food.
