The pizza was great, service is not. I ordered from this restaurant for pick up several times and all was good until I decided to come in and eat at the restaurant. They have one waitress only and she is not attentive to the customers and takes forever to check on them for refills on the drinks or anything they need. The first time I ate in the restaurant she had 3 tables including us to serve so, I thought it was just because it was a lot for her but the second time we went in, it was empty and her service was worse than the last one.She sat on her phone and talking to someone who was there with her the whole time, I had to get up to go ask the cooks for a to go box as well as the check and she would come to the table only if I waived her to come. Terrible customer service. I would not come back to eat inside ever again, only take outs I would recommend! Also, parking area is terrible, careful when going around the building since the properties parking lot is awful.

Love this place I have been coming here since 95 during my lunch when I went to Sam Houston High. Shawn the owner is a great person and good chef and his staff are wonderful. When I walk in they know what I normally order I just tell the waitress to surprise me. I recommend the lasagne with extra cheese any of the Alfredo dishes or the shrimp or chicken Frances or the bake ziti with extra cheese and meat sauce those are my favorite. Their pizza is also good to bad I moved to Plano but I still make my drive to go eat there.I have not found anything to compare to them. Don’t forget the canolli.

Delicious food and well priced . Order large pizza was very delicious. The restaurant has a cozy feel inside. The menu has plenty of options to choose from. Food was fresh. Service was fast and nice. Will stop by again.

Finally decided to give the pizza at this place a try. The restaurant itself definitely has hole in the wall vibes, that lead me to initially believe that it was out of business. But it is open! I’ve been trying to find all the good pizza places in Arlington, TX so happy to make a first order at Italy last week. Per usual, when judging pizza I use a straight up cheese pizza w/ extra sauce (cause I love a good sauce). This allows me to judge based on the 3 fundamental criteria’s of a solid pizza – crust, cheese, sauce.
I can say the pizza was pretty good. Not maybe the best in Arlington, but I would definitely buy it over the chain pizza’s like Dominos, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, etc.
Crust could be crispier. Pizza was a bit floppy. but that could be because I had a 10 minute drive home. Reheating it in the toaster oven solved it.
Cheese doesn’t have as much of nuance of flavor as other places. To me it mostly was salty. But there seemed to be quite a bit of it. So a plus if you’re more of a cheese fiend.
As for the sauce, I couldn’t really detect it. Looking from the side of a slice, I couldn’t tell if they gave me extra sauce or not. But the pizza wasn’t dry so I will say it was adequate.
Plus the medium is only 9.99+tax (I paid a dollar more for the extra sauce). That’s almost as cheap as Brooklyn Pie Cafe’s Monday special. But Italy is 9.99 everyday.
Overall, this review will show as 3 stars, but I feel this place deserves 3.5 stars. The low price I think should give a half star.
I would come and get this pizza again if I was nearby and wanted an affordable pizza.

I came to this restaurant for the first time a week ago. I had a great visit. The place was clean. The service was good. I really enjoyed their food. We started with a cheese bread which was really good. We also had their Stromboli and that was very delicious as well. I’m definitely coming back to this restaurant soon. We were there before noon, so it wasn’t as busy and therefore parking was easy. Recommend if you are a fan of Italian food.

We went for the first time with guests and we will surely be back. It is in an old Whataburger restaurant but you forget that the minute you walk in the door. It is a very open restaurant, everyone was friendly and the food was amazing. There are so many choices and everything was so good. Stromboli is huge and filled so full, the pasta is so comforting and the pizza is homemade and it shows. What a great place!

The service was great. Too bad food wasn’t. The pizza was ok. The shrimp Alfredo with Alfredo sauce was bland, pasta was undercooked, shrimp was frozen and overcooked and the Alfredo sauce was soupy. I had to go home and add my own seasoning consisting of garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
