Social Profile:

Italian Village Pizza has served as a beacon of unity and family values in our communities for over four decades. The first IVP was located at Century III Mall, opening in 1980. If you visited this location, you would see a small kitchen full of staff flippin’ pies, having fun and serving slices by the dozen. Since then, the family business has expanded, and currently has 18 locations. Our newest location is a full-scale trattoria and bar in the Waterworks Mall in Fox Chapel. From Amantea, to New York City, to Pittsburgh, our recipes have been passed through three generations of the Veltri family. Seven days a week, you can find us in at dawn, mixing dough, crushing tomatoes and hand making just about everything else on our menu. Italian

I had such a wonderful experience at Italian Village Trattoria Washington PA. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. The staff was attentive and welcoming, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had recently. Highly recommend Italian Village Trattoria if you’re looking for authentic flavors and great service

Atmosphere- 4 stars- located in the Old Mill shopping center in Washington PA is one of the best pizza joints around. Very clean with a decent amount of seating. Dine-in or take out which seems to be a popular option at this location. They also have a full bar.

Service- 3 stars- our waitress was very nice but could have been a little more attentive however she was the only wait staff the night we were there.

Food- 4 stars- we got a small pizza with pepperoni and pepper rings. NY style and was a great pizza- loved the crust- chewy and delicious!!! Highly recommend stopping here for your pizza cravings. They also have other options besides pizza.

I have read quite a few negative reviews and I can only imagine it’s a staffing issue. The food was great and the service was perfect. Best pizza we’ve had in a long time. Done perfectly etc. Wings were cooked right and the buffalo sauce was just right. Gyro was spot on, fries crisp and hot. My wife’s spaghetti was delicious. We just ordered the one slice to try their pizza. We will return and hopefully they’ve fixed the staff that was working during some of these negative reviews.

Out of the last three times I have been here I have had missing food on my to go orders, I love your employees and food I had every intention of bringing my parents here for dinner over the holidays. I also have in the past recommended you. I cannot be put in this situation again I live 35 minutes away! You have lost all future business and word of mouth!

This has quickly become one of our favorite pizza places. The pizza is always hot and fresh, consistency is appreciated! Tonight i had the wonderful luck to be waited on by Pheonix at pick up. Such a friendly, helpful young lady. Made the whole dinner experience that much better! Bravo!

This place is a perfect example of how not to have a successful business. First off, the woman answered the phone with “hello” like she’s at home (twice) then proceeded to send me boneless wings (which I never order). When I called to rectify the mistake I was faced with being told (twice again) what they had placed on their end. Which was obviously THEIR mistake. Finally, I’m given a credit (for their mistake) and told (by the manager no less) they wouldn’t cover the dilivery fee!!! To top off the whole experience the manager proceeded to tell me he’d get it to me “when he could”!!! This is my first and last experience with Italian pizza. For $75 they should have went above and beyond. As far as the food? Not all that good especially not good enough to compensate for the lack of competency, accountability and customer service. If you want good food and accountable customer service look elsewhere.

First time here. Arrived an hour before closing, didn’t intend to eat in, got food to go. I normally don’t go to places an hour before close but got out of work early and wanted a treat after a bad day.
Ordered two different kinds of chicken hoagies which said $12 a piece, 2 soups $7 each, and garlic knots. The employee helping us was very nice and said everything was made in house. Also asked if we wanted to make them a meal. Said okay, should have asked for price. It came out to $61!!
Very pricey for the food you get. The chicken sandwiches were okay… not really delicious though as I was hoping for. Disappointing. The fries were decent ish.
The garlic knots were okay. Very dry despite being drenched in garlic and grease. The marinara dipping sauce is a must unless you want to choke on dry bread.
The place had no smell. Like no pizza or anything. I thought that was odd since people were inside eating pizza and stuff was cooking. The place was clean but eerie.
I’m glad we didn’t get the pizza. For orders they were grabbing the old dry looking slices and throwing them into the oven and giving those out.
I wonder how long they sat out there…
The items they had under the partial glass was freaking me out the whole time. Half of the bottom row of pizzas were just hanging out from under the glass. What’s the point of the glass if the pizza is exposed to all the outside germs anyway? And they were setting their water bottles and drinks right next to them too. Nobody wore any kind of gloves as they handled the food and one lady kept rubbing her nose and face then handling orders and food.
Yeah, I don’t see us coming back. It was a spur of the moment decision from a long night at work and I didn’t make a good one.

I don’t understand why this place doesn’t have a 5-star rating — the pizza is absolutely delicious! The crust is super thin, the dough is incredibly tasty and perfectly crispy. I had the cheese pizza, and I loved how they used different kinds of cheese — it made every bite amazing.

Oh my goodness, the food was so incredibly good.
All the ingredients are fresh and homemade. You can absolutely tell. We sat down inside. We had excellent service. The prices are a little high but we soon realized that the portions were quite large. Even the basic side salad head so many veggies on top.
Tip….Try the house balsamic, it’s wonderful!
