Anywhere else in the world this would be a great pizzeria, but in this area it’s just ok.
I have been getting slices from IVP since the mid-80’s and it was always 5 star, really excellent. It changed a couple years ago and it’s only ok now. As others have mentioned, the pizza is very oily, much more so than other NJ pizzerias. I get pepperoni slices at other places and they are never as greasy as they are here.
The crust is ok, but something makes their slices greasy/oily.
In summary, this once glorious pizzeria (for close to 40 years) is now a second tier pizzeria. The slices are just ok.

buffalo chicken wings are the best i’ve had in years. They were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the buffalo sauce was just right, not too spicy, not too mild. I could’ve eaten a whole bucket them. Definitely going back for more!

Had the opportunity to stop here for the Pizza Hunters App and was surprised by a very good slice of pizza. Walked through the door and the people greeted me and were very nice. This is always a great start to a pizza experience. Had a slice that was warm, though should have had it heated up because the sauce was very, very good. A great homemade sauce that hits with every bite. I was surprised by this place , but should not have been since they have been in business so long. Great Job.

Late night cravings. We ordered pasta alla vodka and another pasta dish, but received warm noodles with barely any sauce. Bland and no flavor. We tried to salvage our meal with salt and store bought sauce, but ultimately decided to toss it out.
We couldn’t believe the positive reviews. Maybe ordering late was our mistake. A plus: it was inexpensive.
