Diedre and Lowell have a real gem here in Rockport. Curated selection of italian goodies and treats you may never see elsewhere. They recommended two items i really enjoyed, including the Cellar Door cocktail blueberries as a rich topping for ice cream that made my sweet tooth demand more. Really, really interesting niche market. If you are looking for authentic Italian wines, liquors and food, this is the place! A large assortment of wines, which are expensive by nature, and there is no tasting so buyer beware. The food items are limited and expensive. The owners are extremely cordial and very competent and knowledgeable. I bought small. There are some items I definitely would like to try, so I will be back. Parking is limited and they are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The owners have tried everything in their store before bringing it in and you cannot make a bad purchase. They are always happy to help if you need a little guidance on what to purchase and have never steered me wrong. They truly have the perfect wine for any occasion. Amazing everyday wine options that don’t break the bank all the way to that special bottle that your guests will be talking about for weeks. I never knew there were so many food friendly and dynamic Italian wines until I found Italian Cowboy. This is a store that you’d expect to find in a much larger city nestled away in sleepy little Rockport. And we are very, very lucky to have them here.

One of my favorite places. It is amazing to be able to get such high quality imported wines from small batch Italian wineries here in Rockport Texas. The owners have a huge selection of wines with lower sulfites and healthier, organic wine options. They also have amazing Italian made gluten free pastas and pasta sauces for those that have to be gluten free. This is a world class market and definitely a stop on all our regular visits to the area.

For a special gift for a friend, Lowell selected wines from Northern Italy that would create a wine tour because we were all grounded from traveling by stay-at-home order during the pandemic.
