Italian Cafe is a casual, cozy location for good drinks and apps. Happy hour was a hit.
I would come back just for the burrata flatbread – very flavorful and well cooked. I heard the pizzas are fantastic but we got the eggplant parm and tagliatelle bolognese. As a vegetarian, the eggplant parm was slightly bland but the non-veg bolognese was fantastic.
Service was efficient and our server was accommodating to questions and customizations on our meals.
We’ll definitely be back to try the pizza!

Italian Cafe was an absolute hit- I had family from New York staying with me and they absolutely agreed. I called ahead to reserve a table for 9 at 5:00pm on a Friday and the host was so accommodating, he swiftly added us in, even though I called only 3 hours ahead.
The restaurant has a charming, old school aesthetic with wooden accents throughout and these gorgeous table cloths. There is an outdoor, sealed in patio with TVs to watch sports, which is where we sat. Our server was incredibly attentive and accommodating, we were never without anything we needed.
Now: onto the food. It’s amazing. We loved we tried everything we tried. The greek salad was beautiful and full of fresh produce. The tortellini in broth was rich with incredibly tender pasta. The chicken stromboli was crisp and well seasoned, with an acidic tomato sauce to go with.
Overall, this was a fantastic spot for a family meal. It’s very close to the University of Dallas and would be a great place to meet up if you go there. I can’t wait to come back in the future.

The food was delicious! I’m still thinking about the focaccia Try everything; as much as possible! You will not be disappointed. You have the choice to sit inside or outside. We choose outside which is temperature controlled. The service was top tier and we never had to ask for a refill. As a bonus the bathrooms were clean as well.

Their eggplant parmigiana is amazing! It was one of the best I’ve ever had. Their tomato sauce is great. The kids had spaghetti and a slice of cheese pizza which they both loved. The bread that was served was delicious as well. We ended our meal with a cheesecake which was good as well.

Delicious food. Ordered pizza, chicken pesto sandwich and tortellini soup. The soup was INCREDIBLE! SO DELISH and full of fresh veggies. Would definitely get it again. We ordered it to go as it was superbowl and the restaurant was kinda rowdy, such a nice area down by the lake nearby to sit on a bench and enjoy the food on a warm night. Had to go back because they forgot to include cutlery and napkins but no big stress there. 1 tjing i would say is that the ‘Create Your Own’ pizza on the website ordering system doesnt confirm whether sauce and cheese are included or if they have to be selected, and it also doesnt list all the ingredients that are avail on other pizzas such as pineapple. My friend is vegetarian and has some specific dietary preferences so wanted to choose her own toppings, in the end the pizza we did get was delicious, the web ordering system was just a bit basic. (Also requested spinach instead of arugula in the sandwich, it was in the notes of the order, it didnt happen but it was still delicious). Just putting it in here because I see the owner checks reviews. Will 100% order from here again. Thankyou.

Best Italian experience since I was in Florence (Italy). Someone, I’m assuming the manager or owner, welcomed us in right away and showed us where to get lunch. The authenticity was felt by all the Italian speaking men serving in the kitchen, and big burly Italian behind the bar.
The food was hot, quantities large, and the flavors were AMAZING.
When I needed to charge my phone the owner quickly grabbed my phone and found an outlet that was safely behind the bar.
Would go back and would recommend to anyone wanting a genuine Italian experience!
