We were told they had good pizza, comparable to New Haven. We sat down and waited over an hour for our food (which was only for 2 people- a simple order). The pasta was plain and unfavorable. The pizza was not good at all, the dough tasted and looked like a frozen pizza and the Mozz did not seem fresh.
I am very disappointed and would not be back.

Exceptional ! We held our high school reunion on a Saturday night in the private back room . They served 56 of us efficiently. From the beginning planning stages Martha was professional . Pleasantly making suggestions and answering questions . Martha and Georgette catered to all of our needs on the night of the event . The food was buffet style with more than enough . We were able to make choices that accommodated most dietary restrictions. The room pleasantly decorated with additional decor brought in by the planning committee. The Italia Mia will work with just about anything that anybody would dream up . Very easy going !

This little Italian place has its following locally. The service in both the the bar and restaurant is too notch. The food is also very good. One of the better Italian spots between NYC and Boston. It’s usually crowded. The portions are enough for two meals. What more could you want.

I played here as a musician: both the customers and staff were amazing. The food was outstanding as well. The bar has a fun, community atmosphere. I highly recommend!

The bar is cliquey, rude and unwelcoming, and one manager has been in a horrible mood every time I’ve encountered them- rude, condescending, aggressive, RUDE. Food is very good, but it doesn’t come close to compensating. Restaurants are in the hospitality industry… definitely couldn’t tell at Italia Mia’s bar. I’ll spend my money where they actually want customers. If you’re not a regular at the bar, do not bother trying. 0/10 experience

It was our first time here for lunch. The server brought out a nice half loaf of warm bread and seasoned olive oil, which is already a bonus over traditional butter. We split a small Ortolana pie which consisted of grilled eggplant, zucchini, red pepper and fresh mozzarella . The crust was thin and crispy, the sauce was flavorful and the dash of fresh basil really sent a plesent aroma into the air. We can’t wait to go back for dinner .

Waitstaff is excellent. The food not so much. The mussels were good, but there was sooooo much marinara. Some toast points or bread would have been a nice addition to this dish. The Veal Saltimbocca looked and tasted exactly like the Chicken Marsala with the exception of what looked like a rubbery piece of deli ham on top of the veal. The sauce on both entrees tasted like it came straight out of a jar. I ate the “Saltimbocca” because I was hungry, but I could have gotten better food at the diner. Veal Saltimbocca is supposed to be veal cutlets with prosciutto, fresh sage, and a lemon butter sauce, not veal, ham, shrooms and heavy brown gravy. We more than likely will not return.

I haven’t seen Tortellini Toscano on the updated menu, but they still let you order it! My favorite is still Cavatelli with Broccoli Rabe and Sausage. I’ve been going here for years. It looks like they are adding a patio in the back for outdoor dining.
