The salmon pasta I had was amazing!!! I usually don’t have pasta with fish but I’ll be dreaming about this one for a long time. I walked in by myself and luckily there was a table available, they also have a menu with appetizers and dessert, but the pasta portion was perfect for dinner even though I do wish I had tried the desserts and appetizers

You don’t need a trip to Italy to experience such delicious food! I tried the supper carbonara menu, and it was fantastic. The staff were very friendly, the service was perfectly timed, and the ingredients were fresh and full of flavor. 100% recommended!

An italian sunday lunch (but in Copenaghen)
We tried Italgastro for the first time with some Italian friends, all of whom live here in Copenhagen. It was like returning to Italy for a moment, with the warmth and flavor of our top-quality products. The wine selection was also good. His wife and partner were able to manage all of us and the other diners in a professional and entertaining manner.
Price really affordable.
We Will be back for sure to try the Amazing pizza

On vacation here and my kiddo was missing pasta. Stumbled across ItalGastro and decided to give it a try. We were worried it was a tourist trap but it was anything but! The restaurant is run by an Italian couple and the food was amazing and authentic. The sauce tasted like our 85yo Nonna’s homemade tomato sauce and my picky 6yo gave it 5 stars and two thumbs up. Definitely recommend this restaurant and will try to return before we leave!

It was packed on a Friday night in December, but we’d made a same-day reservation and got seated right away. They were even managing to take walk-ins, though with time limits because of later bookings—which is totally fair on a busy night.
One walk-in they kindly squeezed in decided to get attitude when told he’d reached the end of his allotted 45 minutes which was flagged at the start. We later saw him leave a dramatic, wildly inaccurate review, as he huffed and puffed, furiously tapping on his phone when he really should’ve been finishing up. So if you see the most recent “tourist trap” comment – feel free to toss it straight in the bin.

Confused by the high ratings. We had seen when booking there was a set menu. However when we arrived someone pointed where to sit but never explained the menu/asked about allergies/vegetarian, there was just the menu written on the table. We did have someone take a wine order and the wine was great. Unfortunately it was over 40 minutes before the first course – a fairly small brocolli soup, no bread or anything and 40 minutes from sitting and no discussion about food and no food yet we were starting to panic and were very hungry. The same frustrations were felt by our next door table. The risotto was particularly flavourless. The main course of pork was quite nice. The desert -described as panacotta- was just coffee flavoured cream piped into 3 swirls on a plate with 1 raspberry and blueberry. We also then had a very long wait for the coffees we had ordered before the desert. It’s a shame as we had been told the service/pasta/tiramisu were going to be great here but we had none of that. It gave the vibe of the cheapest possible way to run a restaurant – serving cheap dishes en masse but very slowly. Left hungry and frustrated.

Simply amazing gnocchi!
Had a brief stop here before a party, so couldn’t spend too much time. But gnocchi alla norma was a great choice pizzas looked delicious as well, and i have space for tiramisu always would love to be back! The waiters are very welcoming and the location is literally 1 min away from Nørreport.
