I visited Itadaki Yakiniku in Bellevue and had a very enjoyable experience overall, especially thanks to the top quality meat and excellent service.
The atmosphere is fantastic each table has a built in grill, and the soft lighting with modern decor creates a stylish, immersive vibe. We ordered several signature items: thick cut A5 Wagyu cubes (gorgeous marbling that melts in your mouth), Wagyu tongue (the toro portion is especially rich and aromatic when grilled), short ribs, and ribeye style cuts. The edges were lightly charred, insides tender and juicy. Paired with lemon, garlic, their special sauce, and a touch of butter, every bite was rich and satisfying definitely worth the price.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They guided us on grilling times and techniques, and their sake pairing recommendations complemented the meal perfectly. We finished with a refreshing dessert for a relaxing end to the evening.
The only downside was the chair design some chairs have protruding nails or sharp metal parts. One person in our group got pricked while adjusting their seat; it wasn’t serious but did bleed a little and was startling. The staff apologized and helped right away, which we appreciated. Still, I hope the restaurant can improve the safety of the chairs, as they’re something guests use constantly.
Overall, the meat quality, presentation, and service are top tier in Bellevue. This is one of the best Japanese yakiniku spots around prices are higher, but absolutely worth it for meat lovers. Highly recommended.

Itadaki Yakiniku is a Japanese steakhouse in Bellevue. It’s close to the main area, so traffic can be a pain but it’s relatively easy to get to. There’s a few parking garages close by but no real street parking. Inside, they have probably 4 dozen tables, set in the front and back, as well as a bar in the front. Their menu is pretty big, and prices are a bit high, but portions are decent and the quality of food you get is second to none around here. Wagyu is obviously the easy go to, but their other steak options, and some of their sides, are just amazing. The Cube is a great choice, with a little bit of a few things. It’s a nice place to do “family style” with people since it’s easy to split. The service here is amazing, like next level. The staff is so friendly and funny, and they do a great job helping out or pairing sake or other drinks with your meal. Reservations are highly recommended. Overall this is an amazing spot, for either a date night, casual night, or even group gathering.

This was our second visit to the restaurant. Since it was during Restaurant Week, our overall satisfaction was a bit lower compared to our first time, but we still enjoyed our meal. The steamed egg(chawanmushi) was a little on the salty side, but it was super soft as it should be and still tasted nicely savory. The scallop sushi was also good. Most of the meats on the Restaurant Week menu were marinated, which was a bit disappointing for us, but we’ll definitely come back on a special occasion or anniversary to try the beef tongue(not acami but toro) and sirloin cuts again. The service was little bit slow until we got our meat, but the server was nice throughout the dinner.

I recently dined at Itadaki in Seattle, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant itself has a warm, minimalist vibe that feels both modern and welcoming—perfect for a cozy dinner or a relaxed night out.
The food truly stands out. Every dish we ordered was thoughtfully plated and full of flavor. The sushi was incredibly fresh, with clean cuts and just the right balance of rice and fish. Their specialty rolls are creative without being overcomplicated, and the nigiri melted in my mouth.
Highly recommend: the wagyu tongue toro, the Japanese A5 wagyu zabuton slice, and the vegetable platter—all outstanding in taste and texture. The Iberico shimofuri was a little on the chewy side, but still flavorful. I also really enjoyed the wagyu flap slice, which helped refresh the palate after the richness of the fattier cuts.
Service was another highlight. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and quick to offer recommendations. Our water glasses were never empty, and the timing between courses felt just right.
Prices are on the premium side, but for the quality and variety you get, it feels absolutely worth it.
Overall, Itadaki is a gem in Seattle’s dining scene. Whether you’re a sushi lover or a wagyu enthusiast, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

This was my first time dining at Itadaki, and it exceeded every expectation. The food was outstanding—fresh, beautifully prepared, and packed with flavor. Our server, Michael, made the experience even more memorable. He was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional, striking the perfect balance between friendliness and efficiency. It’s rare to receive service that elevates a great meal into an exceptional one, but he did exactly that. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Best meal and dining experience I’ve had yet. Our server was so knowledgeable, professional and friendly (can’t remember his name apart from knowing he was from Taiwan) He was so great to us and answered all my questions which were endless about what we were eating and the tastes I was tasting. We had such a memorable evening. Thank you so much!

Incredible meal from start to finish! The service was 10/10 and very attentive, even for a walk-in. High-end highlights: the Uni & Roe Chirashi, Wagyu Tallow Truffle Rice, and Shimofuri. It’s a bit of a splurge, but absolutely worth it for a special night out. Can’t wait to go again!

I recently dined at Itadaki, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is elegant, calming, and beautifully designed — perfect for a special night out or anyone who appreciates a refined dining environment.
The food was outstanding, crafted with care and full of rich, balanced flavors. Every dish felt thoughtful and elevated. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality absolutely justifies the cost — it’s one of those places where you truly get what you pay for.
A special shout-out to our server, Jim, who made the experience even better. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu. His recommendations were spot-on and he took great care of us throughout the evening.
Overall, Itadaki is definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for top-tier Japanese steakhouse cuisine in a stunning setting. Highly recommended!

I’ve been here four times now, and will keep coming back! Meat quality is top notch, service is attentive, and atmosphere just sets the mood for a great meal.
I particularly love their beef tongue, uni / ikura don, and oysters, although I’ve found most menu items to be worth trying. They know what they’re doing for their medley of flavours.
It’s also my go to spot for a quick work lunch too now.

Exceptional service and surroundings for this Taiwan-influenced yakiniku experience. The meat is indeed authentically marbled and flavored wagyu. Outside of the meat, the value proposition dips despite a valiant attempt to import uni, crab and the like. Prices are steep. Gaggles of young mainlanders form the crowd here
