Hello Pizza Lovers! My name is Heidi Pinkham and I am proud to be the owner of It Is Not Just Pizza in Defiance. The oldest of five children, I was born and raised in Defiance, OH. My first “real job” was when I was sixteen, working for another popular Pizza Franchise. Which is not exactly where my love for pizza began. I was introduced to the culture in the 80’s when I visited the same store I was employed at, only then I was a small child. I watch my father as a manager flip dough around and I was amazed to see the flour fly. You will probably see him in the Defiance store from time to time covered in flour reminiscing.

I love the pizza if its made right. They keep messing up and this time im kinda over it. Yesterday i ordered a pepperoni cheese bread with maranaria plus i bought garlic butter. I got nacho doritos too.
Ended with spicy nacho doritos, a half cheesed cheese bread that they tried to hide with ranch. I was a vendor at a event co i couldnt take it back so i ate what did have cheese and tossed the rest.
Another time they left my fiances food sit out and when i got mine it was hot while his was cold. There was 3 of us that ordered, he ordered first but the other two of us got ours first and they kept us waiting for a cold sub a extra 10 minutes like a month ago.

We ordered almost $90 worth of food. We got pizza, corn nuggets and wings.. The corn nuggets were very good but the wings were burnt and very hard with no garlic parmesan sauce on it and the other was sweet chili and it didn’t have the total wings with little to no sauce. The pizza looked very good but had NO SAUCE on it at all and was very dry! They refunded our money back for the 3 orders of wings but we had already got off the phone when I noticed the pizza having no sauce. I even marked it to have sauce… Just super disappointed and wouldn’t bother ordering from there ever again! Their prices are way to high for the nasty food they give you!

Hands down the BEST local pizza spot in the surrounding areas! Forget about Padrones, Papa John’s, Little Caesars or any of the local chains! Been looking for a pizza joint that I could call IT since moving here 9 years ago I finally found IT! Keep up the great work!

Came in on a slow Sunday afternoon. Placed our order and we’re told it would be about 10 minutes. Gave our name. Waited and waited, almost 30 minutes later asked if our meal was done and it was sitting on the shelf. We were sitting at a table right outside the counter, no call, nothing. The eggplant Parmesan was burnt and the pasta under it was dry. The chicken fettuccine Alfredo was uninspiring and the half sub was okay but nothing special. Paid for a 20 ounce drink and got a 12 ounce can instead. No chips with the half sub and the garlic bread was mostly burnt. I really wanted to like this, but I will not be coming back.

I’m in town for work so I don’t know what is good or not but I wouldn’t buy food here again. I got 2 pizzas and a half order of garlic bread. Everything looked as if it sat out overnight. The cheese was hard and everything was very dry. I gave one star because the kid at the register was very polite. Also finding the entrance was difficult for someone not familiar with the area since the front entrance of the mall is closed.

Pretty good pizza overall, crust was uneven and was very thin in the center. I believe their crust is house made and not frozen so this is common. A little light on toppings as well for the price. Small things that are easily fixed and maybe not the regular. Good overall, but if you want 5 stars, you gotta make better pizza.

I was excited to try a new pizza and wing place in Defiance but it’s not worth the money. The pizza is just ok, I did get the double pepperoni and cheese which would be normal toppings at a typical pizzeria and I added ground beef which included about 15 tiny pieces on my pizza. Also it’s way overpriced too. I do not recommend it.

Just moved to the area. Worst customer service. I ordered 2 large pizzas and two sets of 12 wings- 68 dollars. They told me 25 min to pick up .. gave them a solid 40 min and had to sit in line while people ordered their food. They should have people pick up their orders separately. I finally get to the window and waiting for 5 minutes while they messed up my order.. didn’t have it ready and could hear them talking. Didnt explain to me what happened, just came and told me to go wait in the parking lot for them to bring it over. Took another 15 min. Will never go back especially for that price
