My friend and I traveled to Bolivia, and this was hands down the best sushi we had in La Paz. Not only was the sushi incredible, but Jossie, the owner, was so welcoming, personable, and knowledgeable about Bolivia. The Isu Sushi staff in general were amazing, and we are going to miss our nightly sushi runs! If you’re in La Paz, Isu is a must! The Tempura Trucha and Enso Camarón Frito rolls were our personal favorites!

The owner, Jossie, is the most personable and kind woman. She offered to take my friend and I to help exchange our money, gave us recommendations on where to visit and companies to go through. Not to mention the enso camarón frito roll was our favorite sushi we have ever had. They clearly care about their customers a lot and have pride in the products they produce which are all made to order; they even let us completely customize our own roll! We went back almost everyday for our entire trip. So sad to leave

Best Sushi in the city, if you are near Downtown the city, make this sushi your excuse to visit the south part.

If you like to find a literal ‘hole in the wall’ place that serves great food time after time – this is it! We have been here at least 5 times for lunch and every time it’s just what we were looking for. From the rolls to the sashimi to the bowls – everything is prepared fresh in front of you and served at an arms length away.

Great food, great prices and great people! The narrow alley gives it an extra vibe for sure.
