We come to OOB every weekend and my first stop is always at Istanbul Restaurant for a Gyro bowl w/ double protein. Amazing service and even better food. Their Gyro and Filafel Bowls are absolutely delicious and their baked goods? WOW! I highly recommend you stop by and check out Istanbul, my favorite in OOB!!! Don’t forget to get some Dubai chocolate on your way out!

My favorite place in OOB. The food is AMAZINGLY good. The staff so friendly and accommodating. I’ve tried a few different options on their menu and it’s all been great. If you’re looking for a fast, delicious, generous portion and reasonably priced meal unlike anything else in the area, this is place to go.

Ok so… the tirilece is amazing, so delicious, but the kid at the register/manning the restaurant literally alone at what like 11? Was not able to find it in the register (he had it, but was sure the price was wrong), price is listed at 3.99 for tirilece, 7.99 for Dubai chocolate cheesecake instead… he charged me for two cheesecake and swore it had to be correct and there was literally no adult around to help!! I got charged double for one dessert because my wife is pregnant and I was afraid to go home without it… I’m ok with supporting a new business but this feels shiesty… just saying. We won’t be back. We’ll find something else to make her cravings better. It’s not worth being ripped off openly. When I live above the place?!?! Omg no.

We ordered 3 bowls and got 2. Ordered beet salad and was suppose to have feta cheese, pecan sliced beets, greens and cranberries but all we got was chopped beets. What a disappointment!!!

Being Turkish/Egyptian and know the flavors the food was lackluster at BEST would have been in the trash if we didn’t spend money on it and was hungry. This is the worst review I’ve ever left for a restaurant (we were so excited to see a Turkish place so if it was even mediocre we would have been pleased) I don’t know what part in the world this shawarma even qualified as shawarma.
