We stopped here before a concert, I was looking for Turkish food and picked Istanbul King due to good reviews. The restaurant is cozy and clean. The service was great, they were friendly and generous. The food was delicious. I ordered lamb kabob with rice and my boyfriend got a pepperoni pizza. It was our first time trying halal pizza and we were pleasantly surprised.If we are ever in the Buffalo area again, we will be sure to stop in.

The Owner is amazing and always treats us well. The food for me was definitely 10/10. Highly recommended. Also a decent amount of space for dining in and fairly fast service. The place is always clean as well. Great all around.

I did a takeout order for dinner from here. I really enjoyed the lamb Gyro over rice which came with a couple sauces to put on top. I would definitely caution to not overdo it with the red sauce as it has a bit of kick but more so it really changes the flavor profile of the meal itself.
The pizza I ordered was the double pepperoni pizza and that was a bit disappointing. Maybe I just expected more from it, but it thinner crust than I was expecting and not as saucy as I like my pizza to be.
The space inside looked nice and have room for at least 15 or so people to dine in and the staff working were friendly and quick in preparing my order.

After trying so many halal pizza spots around Buffalo, I can finally say—this is some genuinely good halal pizza. Everything tasted fresh, the crust was on point, and the toppings didn’t feel cheap or rushed. Most importantly, the flavors actually hit instead of being bland or overloaded with grease. You can tell care went into making it, not just throwing halal meat on a basic pizza. Definitely one of the best halal pizza experiences I’ve had—this place sets the standard.

Istanbul King Kebab has earned a spot in my heart as my favorite local kebab restaurant. I have tried many others including the much more wide known and larger restaurant across the street but I will always come back here. The staff are all extremely kind, and while the outside may not seem very exciting, the small interior is very cozy and welcoming, and the smell inside always gets me so excited to pick up my order.
