The regular hummus was delicious, the meze served with it was hot and very tasty. We ended up ordering a second loaf.
Kofte came out medium rare and was wonderful with the tomatoes.
Ribeye was slightly on the tougher side but still had good flavor.
Definitely make a reservation, walk-ins take a long time.

I had an incredible experience at Istanbul Hawaii. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was truly unique, and our waitress Samantha absolutely made the night. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and gave spot-on recommendations.
We ordered the smoked babaganoush, pirzola, manti of the winter hearth, and the Anatolian doner. Every single dish was outstanding. The flavor combinations were out of this world and unlike anything I’ve had before. It’s easily one of the most unique dining experiences I’ve ever had.
I’ll definitely be coming back and plan to keep trying Samantha’s recommendations until I’ve worked my way through the entire menu. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something special and memorable!

Our waiter was AMAZING! He was knowledgeable about every menu item we asked about and gave us some great recommendations. There was also someone walking around that kept our water full even though we were sat outside. I loved the outdoor seating, it was nicely decorated and let me do some people watching 🙂
The food was amazing as well. We got the meze platter which came with four different dips. They were all delicious and the bread was so good that we ordered more.
The cocktails I ordered were creative and flavorful.
For my main dish I got the wagyu with the hand rolled pasta. The sauce that this came with was so delicious – it was tangy and went well with the savory meat inside of the pasta.
Honestly, I would come here again just for the service, it was possibly the best experience I’ve ever had with a waiter at a restaurant.

Istanbul!!!! OMG. The lamb was HEAVEN. You have to try it. Seriously, you will not regret paying for it.

We were seated outside, and the ambiance was amazing. So relaxing and such a different vibe compared to eating indoors.

And the drinks?! WOW. They hit different. Everything was so good and so satisfying that after eating here, we crossed the street to watch a movie… and I literally fell asleep through the entire Superman movie That’s how good the food and drinks were, full, happy, and completely knocked out.

Incredible food, great drinks, and a beautiful atmosphere. This place is absolutely worth it, and I’d go back again just for the lamb alone. Highly recommend!

Celebrated my birthday dinner here and absolutely loved it. We dined outside which seemed like a better choice than inside was a bit loud. The ambience and decor was very well themed. The chicken jidori was perfectly cooked, the Anatolia döner was flavorful, and the eggplant dish my husband ordered was very tasty. We also enjoyed the smoked baba ghanoush with warm bread. I was already so full, but excited to try the Hatay künefe. Would definitely love to come back and try their Sunday brunch next time.

I cannot state how incredibly impressive this restaurant is in every way worth noting. The service was great and attentive. The ambience was clearly well thought out and I appreciated the anniversary noted from the chefs regarding our reservation that evening.
The food and our cocktails were not just beautiful but absolutely delicious. Every dish was well thought out and balanced. The flavors were amazing for everything we ordered.

One of the best places to find vegan options on the menu. We got the sampler dish with four different kinds of Mediterranean dips (mosaic of meze platter), the dumpling dish (manti of the winter moon), and the meatball dish (embers woodland kofte). They were all excellent and I’d very much recommend trying them all. For myself, although it me be considered the simplest food item, the bread that came with the sampler dish will always haunt my tastebuds in the best way possible. Highly recommend coming, and bring friends because the portion sizes are huge!

Beautiful atmosphere, average food, on the pricey side

We were craving some Middle Eastern food and decided to try Istanbul Hawaii. One big plus right away was the free multi-level parking located just behind the restaurant, which made arriving very easy.

The atmosphere is really nice — they offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and the decoration is beautiful. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the plates, design, and overall vibe. Even on a weekday it was pretty busy, but we still got seated fairly quickly without a reservation.

The service was great and fast. My wife ordered the chicken tagine, and I had a gyro-style dish with tomato sauce and rice. Both dishes looked good and were nicely presented, but the flavor was honestly very normal. Considering the price, the portions were also on the smaller side — as a guy, I didn’t feel fully satisfied with my meal.

Overall, the restaurant is beautiful and service is excellent, but the food and portion sizes don’t quite match the price. If you’re coming for ambiance, it’s a nice spot — but for flavor and value, it felt a bit expensive for what you get.

We had the BEST meal at Istanbul and love to bring our friends and family! We ordered the Mezze Platter to share and it was the perfect start — everything was fresh, flavorful, and such a good variety.

I got the pizoula and it was incredible. So savory and perfectly cooked. They got the doner and it was just as good — super juicy and packed with flavor.

Honestly, everything we ordered was delicious. You can taste the quality and care in the food. Definitely coming back to try more on the menu!

Place was busy but we sat at the bar. There was no wait but it might be good to reserve. Drinks were great and bartender was awesome and took really good care of us even with the pressure of non stop drink orders coming in. Very attentive wait staff. Food was amazing. We had lamb tenderloin kebab, doner, sourdough pide and a kenefe for dessert. Would recommend.
