It’s the coldest Monday in February that any Florida person has ever braced across the state . Roti shops are likely to be closed on Monday’s but today I GPS the nearest roti and walked in and made some new friends . Vidya was rushing an order of doubles and poulorie for a regular and her husband was watching Tv near by. We became instant friends and great conversation just before ordering a delicious goat roti with her soft and tasty paratha It hit the spot I was happy to walk into my new favorite spot in Lake Worth

I’m not from FL so I came to this place last week for lunch when I was in town for a conference. I was swayed by the reviewers before me.

The owner said she didn’t have a menu, which might be a turn-off for some people, but for me, that was the moment I knew the food was meant for the locals and that it’s going to taste so good.

The place reminded me of the hole in the wall restaurants I used to frequent in NYC where you already should know coming into the restaurant what to order and they treat everyone like locals (or in this case, like family). They rib on you and it’s all in good fun. Anyway thanks to the Google reviewers and the owner who hinted at what I should get since I was so indecisive, I got the curry goat. It was SO flavorful and delicious! The homemade dip and sauce they made were perfect.

After my meal, the owner’s nephew Rodney did not hesitate for one second when I needed help finding my way to the nearest Publix. It was just such a sweet, random gesture of humanity and this place will forever remain a story I tell friends about when I talk about the lovely side of Florida. You all are real ones.

I know it’ll be another year when the conference comes around, but I will 100% be coming back to this place. And next time I’ll know exactly what to order.

Ordered a lot of food for a family dinner. Our absolute favorites were the fried shrimp wontons, baiganee, Chinese style pork and fried rice, phoulourie & the pepper shrimp. The pepper shrimp took us back to Trinidad! The flavors were so authentic. I definitely recommend trying the food here. We also got saheena. It was traditionally made rolled with dasheen. We tried the curry goat with dahlpuri. Everything is made to order. Nice and fresh. Just make sure to call ahead! They also offer all of the familiar bottled drinks and pastries. Everything was packaged nicely. Came with all of the sauces and chutneys.

The owner of this restaurant can cook! You have to give this place a try Best Trini food. Comes fresh from the kitchen to your plate. Tasted sooo good. We spent so much time there too talking and chatting with the other Trinis and islanders. Felt like home especially with the owner offering us free homemade chow! Finger licking good food for such a great price. I can’t wait to go back!

Didn’t get a chance to try the food because business hours are not accurate. Showed up at 11am on a Monday, no one ever opened or answered a phone. Door sign says “If im here we’re open, if im not, then we’re not” which is funny and I understand life happens, but how can you expect to make money with unpredictable hours.

Super homey, lovely legit trinidians, Authentic food and amazing flavor!!! We have been here twice and look forward to coming several more times and we come all the way from Miami… like this place is so worth the ride. Doubles are a must and after reading others comments I need to venture more of their delights.

OMG!! Where do I begin? My Sister and I found this place thanks to Google so Thanks Google!!
The owner is the best! Not only is he a great cook he is HILARIOUS! His Roti is AMAZING! We loved it so much we decided to buy a medium pan to add to our Thanksgiving Feast! It was a hit! Everyone from the Grandpa down to my two year old came back for Seconds and thirds.
Not to mention it’s also a lounge space stop by and tell him the Jamaican Sisters sent you!

We arrived and were told that they had a private party and the only food left was pastries. Why didn’t they post something on their website or alert the public that they had a private party? They lost our future business for sure.
