The service is excellent. Food was fresh. Our server took special care on a busy Friday evening. Deserves 3 stars, all for it service and food quality.
However, I was charged over what I had ordered. The menu stated that the cheese is included but cheese was charged as an extra on the Fish sandwich. Besides, I ordered only onion rings, but was served crispy red onions as well and charged for something that I never ordered.
The chocolate lava dessert was served with crushed peanuts instead of crushed almonds.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great variety of foods and beverages. Very nice full service bar and restaurant. Lots of seating areas for all. Parking lot that can get crowded. Restrooms, A rating, tv’s, art decor is Island style awesome.

Ate lunch at this Islands, located in Marina Del Ray and had a great time. The restaurant decor and ambiance was very festive. We ordered Chips amd Salsa as a Starter, and serving size very generous (see photo attached). We both ordered water and the glasses were fairly large ( some restaurants serve water in small glasses, which drives me crazy) I ordered the quesadilla off the Appetizer Menu and my husband got a Greek Salad ( see photos attached) All of the food was delicious. We decided to splurge and shared a dessert called Chocolate Lava- So Yummy! The parking lot is easily accessible from Washington Boulevard. Our Server was Mario, and he was fantastic, providing wery efficient service. The restaurant has free Wifi as well.

Great drinks. Happy hour is the best and the small beachside sliders are Delicious. Their chili is also great on the burgers. Happy hour food and drinks are at reasonable prices.

I would rank this restaurant higher if it were strictly on the food itself. The Kilauea burger tastes great, and our drinks were made well. My issue came from ordering a gluten-free bun for the burger (which was provided, and tasted good). However, I take significant points off because when ordering a gluten free bun, and stating that it is for an allergy, you should NOT serve the burger with fried/breaded onion rings. I was disappointed to have this happen, and when I asked the server to confirm that they were in fact breaded, she did not put two and two together…But I will give them another shot as I did otherwise enjoy the food!
EDIT: I was able to revisit Islands with a co-worker, and ordered the same thing I ordered the first time eating here. I was very happy to see that the food remained tasty, AND my allergies were given close attention by my our server. Thank you for changing my mind, I will be back again!

I have been wanting to go for 2months but things came up. Finally get there YESSSSSSS. The service was great, Sebastian was our Server and he was Excellent! My burger was bloody, gross, my daughter’s burger was soaked with ranch dressing. The Manger was condescending. So my 3 Stars are for Sebastian, Onion Rings and Fries.
