Been wanting to go here since I moved to the area over 2 years ago but everyone kept saying it was trash. So not true! I went in today and found out that they have happy hour all day on Sundays. I had their happy meal sliders. So delicious! Their cocktails were fire. It was clean and I loved the island ambiance. The bartender was great. Checked on me just the right amount. Definitely coming back! 10/10!

Sometimes the memories are better than the experience and this was one of those moments, seated in less than 2 minutes but then the experience slowly starts to slide from there, drinks were slow to come, refills of iced tea even slower, burger ordered with no onion but delivered to table with a small chunk, could taste it as it was eaten indicating larger slice was removed before delivery to table, sweet potato fries were best part of meal, burgers were just okay, nothing remarkable, never saw manager who usually checks in to ensure everything on track, disappointing experience overall, probably stick to memories of what Islands used to be versus what it was.

We had a late lunch & service was very slow but our server was super sweet and we were not in a rush. Our food was good, we had a burger bowl, which is great if your avoiding carbs, the cob salad was very good and the mushroom burger my husband loved it. Happy Hour prices are decent and they have TVs everywhere to watch so that’s a big plus. 3 entrees and 3 draft beers, spent about $58 with tip. I’d go back or recommend to others.

Really enjoyed all Sunday Happy Hour! We stopped with the family before heading to world of illumination lights and enjoyed really good sliders, cheese fries , tenders and a brownie sundae plus some great cocktails (deep blue sea)

I’ve been eating at Islands for 30 plus years in a variety of locations but mostly in San Diego. One of my favorite burgers at any restaurant is their Hula burger. From the time we walked into the restaurant with a cute and friendly hostess to our server who was on it from the moment we sat down.
She took our drink order and returned to the table within 2 minutes and then took our food order. I’d guess in less than 10 minutes our burgers and fries were out piping hot and I couldn’t believe how perfect the meal was as I’ve always had at islands.
I cant tell you how many places I’ve eaten at that over the long term their product has changed and usually not in a good way. Islands serves the same great flavored, fresh food and it served by happy friendly good looking staff. I will be returning to this Islands as frequent as possible.
Lastly the pricing was very reasonable.

First time here. And although I was excited to try this place, it was disappointing. We had the Hawaiian burger, fish tacos,kids mac n cheese, and kids tenders. My husband said his burger was ok. It wasn’t something extraordinary. Both my kids didn’t finish their frys. They weren’t tasty. The mac n cheese looked dry, and the chicken tenders were not fresh they were the frozen type. My fish tacos I had to return.. they were just awful. The menu said chipotle sauce or mayo. Well, it didn’t taste remotely like chipotle, I could only taste sour cream, and they were bathed in that sauce. I had to take it out of the taco after I had a bite. Once it was just the fish, it just got worse. The fish didn’t taste like it was freshly breaded, so I couldn’t eat it anymore. I returned it and had the beach bowl! This was better, I asked for the sauce on the side, and I just added what I wanted. Though the chicken on it was dried, I just didn’t want to say anything anymore. The atmosphere was nice, we could hear the music and still had a conversation without shouting. The place looked clean, and the server was nice. The person that came with my bowl from the kitchen apologized but didn’t ask me what went wrong, so maybe if they read this, they’ll know.

This place has went down hill and its managements fault. Fries were cold, first bit and multi color and tasted gross. Chicken wrap was a joke with old lettuce and tortilla that wouldn’t even wrap. Ranch was watered down and waitress was more occupied with her friends or family with a kid at the table behind us than our table. Never cleared one plate but brought ticket and boxes and we left with our table full of dirty plates. Manager never came to table, u think they would when someone calls them out for having freezer burned food and old lettuce. Shame on u Islands! Do better but I don’t think that will happen. Last time we go here
