Here’s the thing. The location is great, the atmosphere is cool, the views out of the north side of the restaurant are fabulous. But the food is like low grade Sysco food. Even the drinks and beer selection are just ok. Kind of like going to TGI Fridays or Applebees. Also the burger with add ons for bacon and tortilla soup was nearly $18. The short premium beer was 8.50. I would go elsewhere.

Food is not bad and they taste good. It came through reasonably quick. And, the fries are a bit too salty. The temperatures of the patty are one hit and one miss, as in a medium rare and a medium well.

Let me start off by saying that or waitress was very nice. The burger was raw, there were pickles even though we requested to have none. Onions were not available either for the sandwiches or onion rings. My husbands coke was completely flat (not a bubble in sight). Both sweet potato and regular fries came out 4-5 minutes after the burgers and they were so salty my husband had to wipe them off before he could eat them. We used to like this place, but sadly it was our last time going there.

I ordered food to go on Labor Day. It was a little over a half hour until they closed. I hurried over there to pick up the food for my friend and I and made it 15 minutes before closing. The girl that helped me at the take out counter (I believe her name was Cassandra) said it was ready to go and gave me some plastic silverware and condiments. I left with the bag and drove back to my friend’s house and set it on the table. When we went to eat, his Northshore tacos were on the top, but the next 2 items in the bag were not mine. In fact, they even had a name of Dante on them. It was chicken strips and the other was a side of fries. I had ordered the Hula burger with fries and a Big wave with Cheese and fries. So neither of my burgers were there and now the restaurant is closed. The next day I went to this location at lunchtime with my receipt to get my money back. The girl at the counter this time said she would get a manager for me. This guy basically told me that he was “filling in for someone else” and did not have keys to the registers to get me cash back. Seriously?!? I used to work in restaurants and everyone has access to open a register and give cash back – how else do you count change back for people that pay with cash? I’m talking about $30 at the most!!! The girl from the night before, Cassandra, came up and said she was aware that my order was switched with someone else’s and told me to call the next day and talk to Brenda (another manager) because she was aware of the situation. The next day I called on my lunch break to talk to Brenda and a girl named Sharon answered the phone. Guess what? She told me it was Brenda’s day off and I would have to call again the next day. This is complete crap! I paid $43 for food and they only got one thing right. Not only did they acknowledge that they messed up, but to this day it still hasn’t been made right. I have told everyone I know in the area to never go this Island’s ever again…. I know that I sure as hell won’t. They get nothing but a bad review from me because of their shitty service!!!

I took the boys out for dinner while mom had the daughter at the library. It was a fun dinner with great service and good food. The patty melt meat tasted a little off. But I let it go. I just hope I don’t get sick. The drinks were good and dessert was amazing. Our server was amazing. She was polite and fast.

Came for lunch it was a busy. Service was good, the Hawaiian burger was great and needed plenty of napkins. The fries are really good and the spinage dip was tasty. Nice tropical trees and plants surrounding the restaurant and surfing playing on tv’s.
