Had This place yesterday and will never be back. My wife found a big black/brown hair in her food when she was almost finished eating; she has blonde hair. We ate in the restaurant, so I went to the register and immediately demanded a refund for her food. The lady working claimed she couldn’t find the transaction in their system even though there had only been two other patrons since we paid. She eventually got someone with more experience in refunds to assist with refunding the money and printing a receipt with the refund acknowledged and stating “hair in food”. Message to Staff, management, and owners, DO BETTER!! Maybe retake those safeserv classes or simply have better hygiene and practices in place to improve. Disgusting!!

Food looked great, I really liked the jerk burrito with the spicy chicken and pineapple, Its a great combo! The seasoning in the chips are delicious. the place was clean and organized. Staff was friendly, I enjoyed my meal and will definitely be coming back again!

I LOVE islands! I order it a lot. I haven’t been mobile lately and have had to use doordash. And every single time, there is no salsa! If it’s on the driver’s to get the salsa, you need to make it clear. But also, I’m ordering from YOU, so it’s also on the restaurant to make sure I get what I ordered. Please put up a sign or something so the people who order from doordash are screwed over for the extras they pay for!

Everytime we dine in they are always out of nachos and/hard shell tacos. They also skimp on the cheese Also some of the employees wipe the pans and put the excess that they wipe up back in the pan. That’s so gross and unsanitary. I’ve left before when that happened.

Loved the food. We got the dollar taco deal. First time eating here and we have definitely found our new Mexican food place. Great seating area and lighting and also has outdoor tables. The only annoyance was minor and it was that the counter the drink machines, lids, straws, condiments, etc and the salsa toppings for the chips was in the corner so if someone was getting lids and straws it made it difficult to get drinks or salsa without invading their personal space. Overall a great experience.

I should’ve listened to the reviews…terrible service. I love Islands but do not come to this one unless you want to be disappointed. Took SO long for them to make anyone’s order. Also, I got 4 dollar tacos and asked for the extra queso, expecting it to be a small up-charge as I was told. Nope, $4 extra for a small drizzle of queso.
