Ordered the fajita burrito, it was good but not great. The “Caribbean twist” definitely gives a slightly different flavor than a traditional burrito. The chips that came with it were very good and I liked being able to get my own salsa from the salsa bar. You will need 4 little souffle cups of salsa for the chips you get for free.

I went inside for the special and ended up ordering a whole bowl of nachos (picture).
The servers were right on with their expertise and I was satisfied with the quality and freshness of the food, also delicious for the price.
The location might tempt you again the moment you step out, with award-winning thematic and gourmet restaurants lining nearby streets.
Would I eat here again? YES!

Visited here for the first time on the 4th of July with my mom. It was crowded but the entire crew treated everyone with great service and the food was delish. Came back today with my mom and brother and Tavon took care of my family with great care and remembered us. This location is way better than other locations I’ve visited. The service is fast and the food is yummy prices are reasonable with many options to choose from. Great job Tavon and I couldn’t get the name of the guy working with him but they worked excellent together and got the line down in a professional manner.

This is the best islands in town by a long shot. The food is always delicious and consistent, no matter how busy they are. I was so happy with everything on my last visit that I got the manager’s name so I could leave a review. Islands, you’re very lucky to have Carlos Herrera on your team. He’s always there when I visit, and he’s always keeping the line moving and the atmosphere great. If I owned a restaurant I would hire him in a heartbeat. Keep up the good work Carlos!

I stopped here for a quick bite while strolling downtown Wilmington. Service was quick and prices were decent. Servers were friendly. Food was ok, they were generous with their sides not so much with their meats.

This place was absolutely disgusting. They hid their health department score behind a ladder so I was not able to see it. The drink machine has rust, mold, mildew and who knows what other crud in there! I would not let anyone drink out of that. Food was not seasoned and taco salad shell was burnt. Large, dead roach on the floor. Needs to be closed.

Went in after 5pm and tried the $1 taco special requiring you to buy a drink at regular price. Got three soft tacos, two beef and one seasoned chicken. Hand made in front of you as you pick the toppings. Fresh ingredients and delicious salsas.
