I asked our server if she could “please” train other servers in San Diego on how to be a great server and found out that she IS the trainer for Islands wait staff! LOL! Had to compliment her to the manager who brought over my husband’s 2nd bowl of their delicious chicken tortilla soup and found him to be the most pleasant of people too! We will be back soon, that’s for sure!

A consistently fabulous experience. The menu has a variety of options to satisfy most customers. Doing takeout is easy. One hint: ask for the fries well done. They are crispy on the outside and soft inside. Vegans, don’t despair! They have a tasty vegetable based non meat burger option. They also have a gluten free bun option. The portions are substantial but the adult beverages can really drive up the price. Overall, good quality, good portions and affordable.

Casual beach-themed restaurant with a great Happy Hour. The piña coladas were amazing! The burgers were also really good. We tried the Hawaiian and the Bluenami, and both were delicious. Service was good, and the atmosphere at the bar was fun.

Happy hour chicken tenders and fries were good, my 28 year old girl friend loved them. I’ve been going here since my early childhood, stop in the neighboring Costco for some bananas and avocados and the service was so quick they were still good when I finished my yummy meal.

Service was excellent, even when we had a mid-dinner server change. The staff handled the transition seamlessly, showing professionalism and attentiveness throughout the meal.

Came back before we left. Service not good. Our waitress took our order and brought the check. No refills or asking how things were.
The restaurant is in a nice location. The staff was attentive and the food excellent. They also have a wonderful drink selection. There is something for everyone.

I love eating here. I get the same thing every time. It’s an appetizer called cheddar fries. You can add beef and bacon and it’s appetizer price but definitely can fill up about two people. The service is always good and the cost is not bad. High quality food with big servings. It’s a great mix that you should try.
