My brother and I were looking for good food and value. We came across this place and had the Mahi Mahi and Shrimp Creole. Both came with rice and plantains. Both were less that $20 each. Great service and clean restaurant. Would be back.

I saw a paper with “Special of the day Steak” and I asked price, cashier said $23 and I ordered 2 of them, he placed the order and in 20min he brought the order and the bill charging $32 for each plate. The worse steak I’ve ever had, I had no choice I had my family waiting and the fly in couple minutes. That was definitely on purpose.

Nice atmosphere but the food is poor quality and they don’t care about your business. I ordered fish tacos, they brought out grilled instead of fried. To fix it, they just deep fried the grilled fish. It was like crispy fish jerky. Acted like I was nuts when I said it was bad when asked. The waiter just shrugged his shoulders and gave me the bill – $26 for three tacos. I asked to talk to the manager about it, and he didn’t even come over to talk to me, just took it off the bill.

Great drinks, great food, and great service! The feel is much more calm compared to the other Islander in the airport, which is nice if you’re just trying to sit somewhere quiet to relax before a flight. The food and drink is just as good as the other location, and the servers are friendly and attentive! I definitely recommend a visit!

Rosa and Anne are the best bartenders. They made me want to work with them. Great service and awesome food. Even the Manager is great he dance with us. Will definitely visit again while in Miami.

This is such a nice place, My server rosa was awesome she was attentive I got a regular burger but they have the Cuban that comes with plantains and caramelized onions, the flan with coconut was delicious and of course I couldn’t forget the corona beer. Everything was good the right temperature for my burger the fries were on point so crispy but not hard.

I will give it 1 star because the waiter was excellent. This is my untouched “fish taco”. This is what it looks like when they bring it to the table. I am not one to give bad reviews but this is ridiculous! I ate 1 of 3 tacos because I was STARVING. And, btw, this is no cheap place to eat. Do NOT waste your money here.

This would have been lower but the staff brought the rating up….. absolutely wonderfully friendly service. Sadly the Island Chicken Sandwich was a big disappointment. Fries were cold and the sandwich is trying to be something special on ciabatta bread but I’m not sure what. I had cheese added for an extra price but so little was added that I shouldn’t have bothered. Price was ok for an airport restaurant.
