Best Jamaican restaurant in ABQ! One word: Family! I love and support my peoples! Food is outstanding and great customer service. Food is made to order so ALWAYS fresh! And of course, I love my JA “market” products: bun and cheese, Shirley Biscuits, Grater Cakes and Coconut Drops! And the drinks are superb! Sorrel, Sour Sop and Ginger Lemonade! 100% the best in town!

You may have favorite dish but try a new dish each time. Your taste buds will thank you. Pull up, stop in and place an order. On this day in Nov I placed an order for Ox-tail and rice. #TakeAFriend #BuyAMealForAHomless

The atmosphere and the service was great but as a Jamaican, the food is mid at best. I had the oxtail with rice and peas and I was like okay not bad let me try the curry goat/Jerk Chicken mix a next day and boy I was disappointed to the point I didn’t get through half the food.
The curry goat needed more seasoning/curry as that was bland and the jerk chicken I don’t even know what to say.
If there is no other option then sure go for it.

As soon as I heard that Albuquerque had a new Jamaican restaurant, I knew I had to try it asap! I ordered the jerk chicken entree and it was delicious! The reason why I gave it 4 stars was because the way they chop up the chicken shattered the bones. This made it a little hard to eat because I had to pick out bones. But the chicken was so flavorful! The plantains were some of the best I ever had! I also ordered a spicy beef patty. It wasn’t spicy but the way the meat was seasoned was delicious! I ordered a Jamaican lemonade which was so refreshing. The staff were very friendly and overall I had a great experience. I can’t wait to go back.

The food here is spot on and authentic. The food is prepared correctly, it is juicy and moist when it should be, and crispy when needed. Ask for the beef patty, which is a beautifully seasoned, not spicy hot, ground beef in a deep fried pie shell, that is reminiscent of an English pie. Very good. Oxe tail, jerk, all of it is fantastic and fresh.

Ordered Oxtail, Curry Goat and Jerk Burger. Fantastic! Really authentic flavors that totally hit my every spot. Would have liked cabbage and carrots but the salad they served was really good and did have red cabbage in it. Really great food. Even the Rice and peas (beans) was amazing, fresh and perfectly done.

Sooo soo good. This was my first experience trying this food. I got Jerk chicken and the owner let me get a small tasting of the Goat Curry. I also got a really great juice that I forgot the name of. Next time I will for sure get the goat curry — everything taste fresh, vibes fresh, beautiful culture. One of my new favorite places.

Finally tried this place for the first time and I am so glad I did! The food was absolutely amazing—you can tell there is real heart in the kitchen. The owner definitely made the right move opening this restaurant; her talent shines through every bite. This is officially my new favorite spot!

Great little family owned Jamaican restaurant. Healthy portions, good unique flavors, great for takeout. Don’t let the prices fool you, you will get a ton of food.
Pros: you get a ton of food. It’s a family owned business. The food was unique and very flavorful. Great for takeout. Next to Talin market so you can shop afterwards. Several very unique Jamaican sodas and snacks.
Cons: more of a take away vs dine in. The prices are high in comparison but you will have leftovers for days so it definitely offsets it. It would be nice if they played some Jamaican/island music, or any music to help it feel a little more inviting.
