10/10. No complaints. Super nice area and relaxing vibe. Food is amazing and made pretty fresh. Service was amazing. Seems like they really care about the food they are putting out. The cook really cares about his food and they walk around and make sure everyone is okay. Best food I had in key west on my vacation. Came back twice.

We dropped by on a whim driving by and were absolutely amazed at the quality of the food! The best Bahamian food in Key West!!! They are using his grandmother’s recipes and the food is absolutely amazing!!! We tried the conch fritters, a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. (I ate the other half of the breakfast sandwich in the picture before I remembered to take a pic…) Just wow!! The entire menu looked amazing. We will definitely be coming back for the amazing food and great hospitality!!

We love small mom n pop type of places, so we decided to try Island Tings…..SO glad we did! The food was outstanding, flavorful and piping hot. The atmosphere is exactly what we love, less tourists, comfortable seating with a totally chill atmosphere and a great playlist❤️

We loved this place for the kind and friendly staff, truly chill vibe that is rare in KW, and outstanding food. Just off Duval and styled to feel like a breezy Caribbean afternoon you can while away the hours here with 2 for 1 mimosas and some free roaming chickens that respectfully keep their distance. Prices are reasonable – another KW rarity – and you’re blocks from the ocean. 5 stars 4 sure.

This restaurant is amazing! I have only been here once, and I already know that this place will become one of Key West’s LANDMARK restaurants everyone will want to visit in the future. They have only been open 6 months as of posting this and they owner shared with us that they are still planning to make more improvements to the restaurant in the future. My family and I have been to Key West 3 times together and no place does crack conch and conch fritters like this restaurant. It is also the only place that has true conch fritters sauce (the pink sauce you see in the picture). It was always something my family and I were on the lookout for when ordering conch fritters from other restaurants. But no one seemed to know about it because no other restaurant had it. It is true Bahamian style/Island style food. The owners are truly nice people and really bring the culture to life in their place. Even the music is true island music. It will get you moving and wanting to have a great time. If you live in Key West or are visiting, please check this restaurant out. You will not be disappointed. I can’t wait to go back!

What a wonderful find!! Great atmosphere with comfortable seating!! Chef Babo/Andrew created some amazing food!! Try anything conch and you will not be disappointed!! I had the sampler- it was excellent!! Sophia (Babo’s wife) was very gracious, friendly, and attentive!! Fish bites were excellent- as was the conch burger per my lunch companions!! Even the burger was GREAT if you don’t want to be adventurous!! Try this establishment if you are looking for an excellent and unique dining experience in Key West!!!

We are a couple from Michigan and had lunch here in early March 2026. Decided to try it out based on the good reviews. What an excellent choice on our part. We loved the fact it was family owned and operated was exactly what we were looking for. It is a block over from the crowded Duval street. You order at the window and we had a super helpful and sweet woman wait on us. Gave us our beverages (i had a glass of lemonade and got a refill as well!) and told us to have a seat and cook would be out with our food as soon as it was ready. What? The person who makes the food brings it out as well? Amazingly true! We had fish and chips and chose regular fries but had other choices like sweet potato fries and something else. You could also get wine or other alcoholic beverages there but we are not interested in that so cant help too much in that area. The chef brought the food out to our table steaming hot. He told us he gave us a sauce which was his grandmother’s secret recipe but if we didnt like it we could get regular tartar sauce just let him know. The food was delicious – French fries had a seasoning on them that was amazing (other than just your regular salt) and the fish was melt in your mouth goodness. The woman who took our order came to see how things were and brought me a second glass of lemonade and told us the fish was Mahi and that the sauce was a secret recipe the cooks grandmother brought with her from the Bahamas! We loved that special touch. As we were finishing up our meal, the cook again stopped by our table after delivering someone else’s meal to make sure everything was good with us. How great is that! Very awesome experience and we highly recommend this family business as a place to sit and relax and enjoy a good meal at a place who truly cares about their guests!
