called at 1pm for a pick up order, ordered 4 rolls and whoever I was on the phone with said it would take 35 minutes for one roll because they didn’t have everything prepped and ready. changed the roll to something else and then was quoted for 15 minutes. when he was ending the call he then said it will be 25 minutes. I got there and he told me it will be 10 more minutes, after the 10 minutes he said they had to redo a roll because one was messed up. Overall waited 45 minutes. at that rate I could’ve waited for the roll I originally wanted. Finally when I got back to work I noticed they added random toppings to my rolls and they are really small than what they normally look like. overall I am very disappointed and a waste of my time, patience, and money.

There is a reason this establishment has a 5-star majority! What a unique experience to compliment my favorite guilty pleasure: sushi!

The impeccably clean environment and passionate staff make it easy to love this place; it has quickly become a Valley favorite for any occasion, including no occasion at all. ❤️

Servers are extremely friendly, and the way the sushi is presented adds to the experience. I ate 21 plates and still kept seeing different kinds of sushi go by on the boats. I was even surprised that I could order off the menu at the same time as I was pulling sushi off the boats. I will definitely eat here again when I’m in the area. Price is very good for what you get. $21 before the tip.

We went on a Saturday night and the place was packed. We waited for an hour and a half at the bar but they have games and popcorn for you while you wait. The bartender was great! John was very knowledgeable about whiskeys and bourbon which made for a great conversation. We sat down to sushi at about 9 o’clock and the sushi was very good. The sushi chefs were having a great time which helped us to have a great time. The wait staff was very helpful and attentive. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend for a fun sushi experience where you get to try lots of different types of sushi. We would recommend the big kahuna roll, spicy shrimp sriracha, drunken Cali and the crabby patty.

Sushi is still good but the sushi boats are gone which is the only reason Island Sushi stood out.

Two orders of sushi took roughly two hours to received (one order after the other) and finish. We actually ran out of time to eat and had to leave the remaining sushi to make our next reservation.

The staff was working diligently and the chefs prepared the rolls with care (they presentation was very nice and the rolls were very good) there were only two tables seated at any given time while we were there. One table seated when we arrived, we were sat as the previous group walked out, then when the table that was seated when we arrived left, the next group was sat.

Now that the boats are gone there are several better options close by. And at $34 a person you expect more than sheets hanging from the ceiling to box off the storage room and being seated next to the dirty plate cart that is on the dining floor. (That seams more like a self return sandwich/coffee shop kind of thing)

Absolutly amazing! I went for lunch twice so far and have been so happy! Great service, fast sushi rollers, did not feel like I was waiting to put in a request. The boats were always filled and the rollers made sure to have a variety of options when people had stopped requesting. Great quality sushi that is totally worth the price! Highly highly recommend and I look forward to my next visit! PS: in love with the krabby patty roll.

I have heard great things about this place from friends for a while now. Finally decided to go. Loved every bit of it. The sushi was as great as the service was friendly. Even the semi picky kiddo ate a bunch of different things.

I always enjoy my dinner from this place but the wait times are a bit long. Recently, I came for dinner and opted not to do all-you-can-eat and still waited over 45 mins to be seated. This wasn’t a big deal for my party, but worth a mention.

The sushi I ordered was delicious! I ordered with a slight modification and it was acknowledged! Our server was Genevieve and she was wonderful & attentive.

We got there at 4:30 when it opened to see a line of people waiting. We got in line and waited. It was clearly busy. We just missed the cut off for the first group and had to wait. We were told 40 to 45 minutes. We waited an hour and a half to get in almost walking out. I get these places are casual and laid back, but seriously think of others. I would never sit for that long knowing hungry people were waiting. When we finally got in there was still two groups from the first set that went in. We ate and left. Those people had now been there for 2 hours. The food is good staff is great, but people need to think of others. How much business do they lose because of people like that?
