I don’t know what’s goin on but the quality has definitely decreased! I paid $20 for a Medium Curry Goat. I got day old rice, 1/2 mushy, 1/2 hard & burnt. It’s as if it was scraped off the bottom of the pot. My cabbage was sour & undercooked with CHUNKS of RAW carrot. The gravy was full of sticks from whatever herbs. And the rice smells funny. Very disappointing. Should’ve known better when there was no food up front.

Aight 10/10. The most flavorful curry chicken. Spice and herbs are not the same as other joints. I would say this is more authentic, but I don’t really know. It is the most flavorful tho to me and most home style of cooking I’ve come across in long while. Portions are big IMO. Cabbage is good/rustic. Chirp Chirp Lesco.

This lady tried to tell me I ordered a small dinner. Had me go to the atm three times and played in my face about what size I ordered. I will never go back in this establishment again. Lady so nasty that she can’t hear. If she would loose the damn attitude maybe you’d be able to hear what I’m saying. Never again. Plus it’s cash only, like it’s 2024 get with the program.

Dissatisfied. I used to frequent this location quite often. I was happy to see the social distancing. However, the quality of the food has diminished. The curry chicken was shredded which means it was cooked too long. I tasted no curry at all. I could see the curry but tasted very hot spices and could not enjoy the food because it was too spicy. This dish should not be this spicy like jerk chicken. The cabbage was mushy and hard. I lived in S. FL for 15years and I have Caribbean friends who make this dish. Must do better.

I wish I had of read these reviews before I went there. The food was not good st all. If I didn’t know what Jamaican food is supposed to taste like. I would never want it again. The curry was way to spicy and I like spicy food but it was to spicy to enjoy. The cabbage looked like it had just been torn up buy some kid then it had no good flavor. The plantain was good and the oxtail where boney and they cost to much to just be getting mostly bones. Now the ladies attitude in there was not good I agree with the previous post she was very slow with service she was still adding food to the warming area there fore she was not ready to serve customers. Then she came off as if she did not want to be bothered. I wasted my money regretfully. Don’t waste yours.

Best Jaimaican spot in Cleveland cant go wrong with the curry chicken or jerk chicken with rice and peas and cabbage. But CALL before you go since the dont keep the hours they have posted which is a shame.
UPDATE: I cant recommend this place the hours are terrible! I sat outside for 45 mins owners daughter finally came to door telling folks it would be another hour due to rice not being done she even refused to sell dinner w/o rice even when told I had been waiting for 45 mins I patronized this place since the late 90’s when she didnt work there. The owner/ mother should fire her she doesn’t understand proper business etiquette just read other reviews.
