We went here during their happy hour and we enjoyed every minute. First of, the view was phenomenal and they music playlist created a very relaxing chill vibe. Second, the food was good. You get a lot a lot for happy hour prices. Lastly, the outdoor setting makes you feel like your in an island.

Our server, Caroline, was attentive, friendly, and professional. She stopped by to check on us and to refill water and offer more drinks — just the right amount of attention. The atmosphere was outstanding — we sat outside and watched walkers, bicyclists, dogs, and boats on the Capital Trail and the James River. Food was very food. We enjoyed a chance to talk with James the Executive Chef who stopped by our table. We will definitely visit again and try more of the delicious sounding offerings on the menu. This evening we had the crab dip, shrimp tacos, and lobster & shrimp fried rice.

Will definitely come back when the weather is nice. We arrived right when the storm came in. Other than that, this place is a for sure Vibe. I ordered the nachos, and they were delicious. The hot chicken sandwich was also very tasty. Server Taliega was super sweet.

I was born and raised in Richmond but moved down to Tampa about 9 years ago. I’m always looking for new places to eat and things to do when coming back home and this restaurant was the perfect spot! The food was amazing, the service was great (I think my servers name was Korin) and the atmosphere was awesome. It’s so nice to be able to look over the Canal while enjoying your food. Can’t wait to come back and visit in the summer.

My mother and I stopped by Island Shrimp Co. for lunch. The space is nicely decorated and the views of the river and the city were incredible. The weather was nice, so we opted to eat outside. The staff was pleasant and the food was good. The garlic shrimp is a must – it’s perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. During the visit, I enjoyed the garlic shrimp appetizer, the teriyaki chicken pineapple boat, and fuchsia lemonade cocktail. My mom ordered the 1/2 Jerk Chicken. We will definitely return!

Great food. Great atmosphere. The patio is beautiful. The service was extremely spotty but the management team recognized they were having a tough night and comp’ed the entire meal, which was more than I was expecting. Would be happy to try again.

Some friends and I wanted to go out for dinner to try out this place out (Richmond location was very cute inside). The tacos were delicious, i just wish the tacos were more filling. I was still hungry when I left. We wanted to order the crab dip since it was recommended to us to try but after hearing how small the dish was going to be, we decided not to order it for the price it was.

Beautiful relaxing views had an issue with my rice not being done it was taken care immediately. Food was piping hot fresh tasting. Staff was extremely nice however didn’t like seeing the staff petting on a customer ‘s dog hopefully they washed their hands right after or b4 food was touched.
