This is hands down the best Chinese takeout in Atlantic County. Their General Tso’s chicken has large chunks of fresh chicken and isn’t drowning in breading or fried filler. I’ve never had a bad dish here, and I order takeout at least once a month. Always consistent and delicious.

You just can’t eat in here .i was on lunch break and No one was in the restaurant and the lady wouldn’t let me eat in there . They have good specials but if you’re not local I wouldn’t take the drive .

Ordered beef lo mein with no veggies. Came loaded with veggies. Chicken and broccoli. Chicken was rubbery. Rice was dry. Only decent thing was the wonton soup and even that wasn’t great. First time ordering, will definitely never order again. Extremely disappointed.

giving it 4 stars bc i’m local and feel bad and don’t want a local place to close. but i am SO SAD about my experience tonight. I got sesame chicken and specified “NOT SPICY” and they even wrote it on my order! and let me tell you, i couldn’t even eat more than a bite. my mouth was immediately on fire. So i didn’t even get to eat my main food, all trash:( So I tried the egg drop soup that i ordered and it was also SO spicy i couldn’t tolerate more than one bite again!!! I spent $24 on a dinner for myself and ended up only eating white rice:( rest was trash

Ordered Saturday first night in ocnj and it was terrible, no taste, presentation and little specks in the food. Rice looked like it was from the bottom of a pan. Wonton soup okay, wouldn’t try it again. Probably should’ve read reviews first but there’s always a first try and a last try.

We haven’t ordered from this place since before the pandemic because we had a bad experience back then but we decided to give it another try after all these years. Wow what a surprise the food was delicious! Wonton soup was so good, egg rolls good We had chicken lo mein and chicken with veggies and both were delicious. Wish the dining room was back open. We will definitely order again.

We have been going to Island Shore Restaurant since Billy Ho opened it. The food was always excellent, portions were always generous, and the service well above average. Since Chef Alen acquired it the quality remained the same until recently. The portions have been cut and the quality has nosed dived. Won’t be going back.

After reading the bad reviews, I tried being gracious and ordered from this place anyway. This is by far the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Praying that I don’t contract E. coli after eating that pink meat. My egg roll tasted of wet cloth and corn in a garbage disposal. In all, the food here tastes like feet that washed up on shore. They also forgot my rice-not that I would eat it anyway. Do not order here.
