The most expensive donuts you’ll ever buy!

I have to temper this review with the knowledge that this place is right next to the ferry dock and makes all their money, I assume, on ferry travelers and not local repeat customers. Loads of people.

Pros: It’s a cute spot.

Cons: I was here only for the donuts and cannot comment on the food. The apple fritters were good to very good. The rest of the donuts were sad. The ones with frosting had the type that dries solid and has a matte look to them which is very unappealing. Tasted generic.

The biggest issue though was price! 6 donuts = $26 dollars! And that’s before a tip. Gawd…

Every vacation has that one unfortunate dining experience — and this was definitely ours.

From the moment we walked in, it felt like the staff were genuinely surprised to see customers. Only two tables were occupied the entire time, yet the service was painfully slow and inattentive.

I ordered the black bean burger, only to be told much later that they didn’t have it. We switched to breakfast burritos, which were cheaper, but no one offered a refund, a price adjustment, or even a basic courtesy like a coffee. To make things worse, the waitress didn’t even bother to bring us water the entire time.

It took 45 minutes to get our food — and it was far from worth the wait. The fries were soggy and greasy, and even the grilled cheese felt like a rip-off for what we paid.

If your looking for great views and a convenient place to eat, right next to the ferry, this is your place! Has maybe the best view in town for outdoor breakfast seating. Food was very good, staff was attentive. Was there for a pre-wedding breakfast so we had a large group they were able to accommodate no problem, the owner even gave us some pastries on the house! Very good food and great seating just be sure to get there before it gets too full, as with most places on the island, they can fill up quick, especially for breakfast.

The food wasn’t particularly good and was expensive. I had French toast that was basically bland with just a touch of cinnamon. There was also a nice long hair across it. I’m not particularly weirded out by hairs, and it had taken over an hour to get our order, so I pulled it off and continued eating. My wife had a breakfast platter and the hash browns were the burned stage. Too dark and tasteless. We had just arrived on the ferry and it was around 10:30. The breakfast rush was ending and not many came in after us.
I liked the looks of the place and wanted to like it, but it really wasn’t worth the time or cost we invested in it.

Went for breakfast with two toddlers and ordered our food. It didn’t look crazy busy or anything but the food took a whole hour to come to the table! The waitress was nice. Super expensive and the babies were losing it because of the long wait. If you’re currently hungry don’t go here if you want to eat in a timely manner

Perfect little Friday Harbor breakfast experience on the patio overlooking the ferry. Very sweet staff and very delicious food. Just what you’re craving on a Sunday morning. Great to see locals frequent this spot, too.

My new favorite veggie benedict on island! The mashed avocado and roasted red pepper made it unique. Great hollandaise sauce, perfectly crispy hashbrowns, and super sweet service. Looking forward to more breakfasts here.

Donuts are phenomenal, been thinking about asking the owner to ship me a dozen to NC! Go try this resturant, they open early and the food is delicious! Close to Ferry on the top of the hill. 10/10 stars!
