The portions are bountiful, and the owners are genuinely good people. The shop is in a somewhat sketchy area, and the restaurant is carry-out only, but don’t let that stop you.

Definitely not cheap, but that was some meannn oxtail! Super tender, straight melt-in-your mouth with the most flavorful sauce. The plate was HEAVY too, proper for the price. Mac salad was good and plenty rice for the sauce and meat. Jerk chicken was ‘ono too but oxtail was definitely the star dish. Be prepared to fork over ~$28 bucks for it though!

The Jerk Chicken is excellent as usual. We’ll seasoned bursting with flavor and spice level that has a kick but not overwhelming. Im told there’s oxtail is amazing but not gluten friendly so I had to pass. The Curry chicken catering order was a hit! I highly recommend!

Good place to pick up food for an outdoor picnic. Food was great. Patties are delicious and sell out fast. The plate lunch portions are very generous. Enough for sharing or leftovers.

Owner was nice and welcoming. Jerkchicken with peas and rice was delicious. The jerk was mild in my opinion just the right amount of heat. Certain dishes are only available on some days i.e. Thursday-Saturday Only Days for Oxtail Stew and Goat Curry Only available on Saturdays.. So I’ll definitely be back to try those out.

Thanks to Shawn and Guster (IYKYK) for always ranting and raving about jerk chicken! Finally stopped by Island Patty over on the windward side and OMG it is delicious! Got the jerk chicken, and jerk pork plate, along with a beef & cheese patty. Every single bite was a medley of spices cooked perfectly! SO good!! Highly highly recommended!!

We visited the Botanical garden on our family vacation on Thursday . We met Michelle and she was very welcoming to us. The service was excellent and we ordered jerk pork ,jerk chicken and some beef patties. When we got back to our stay we were able to sit down and enjoy our meal. The food was excellent and very flavorful we would definitely come back when visiting Hawaii. Definitely 5 stars
