I visited this restaurant twice in my last 5 day vacation to anna maria a few months ago, i still think about it so much im literally leaving a review at 4 am cause i cant sleep and ive been thinking about the food i had BOTH times for like 20 minutes. It was incredible, i love my local japanese restaurants but wow does this one take the cake. I got steak (medium) and rice with their sushi roll both times i was there and the steak just absolutely melted in my mouth, it was maybe the best steaks i’ve had and i’m a big steak eater. Their service was awesome, everyone was so kind beginning to end. If you’re willing to spend a little buck for a date night i 100% recommend this place!! The outside seating’s view is incredible and the vibe is perfect for date night but also just as perfect for a family get together. The first night we were there we had a party of probably 10-12 and they handled everything amazingly, it wasn’t too long of a wait and again they were all so kind. The second night we went was date night and everything was just as incredible. again if you’re even thinking about going, go ahead and get in the car 🙂

A beautiful spot right on the water at the marina on the less traveled side of Anna Maria. With a bar, inside and outside seating you’ll have plenty of areas to sit.
Service is friendly and great and the view and breeze from the water in a heavily shaded area is perfect.
Nothing stood out as amazing in the food, but I could tell the quality was fresh. So a great meal, but probably doesn’t elevate to amazing.
Very friendly staff though so we will be back if we want a break from the busy main street restaurants.

Food was amazing! Look at this sushi! But it’s not just sushi. The fried snapper was great. The grilled grouper was superb. Scenery was beautiful on the water. Staff were very sweet and fun. It does take a little while but for me, I didn’t want to leave. It was awesome just being there.

Lily and Chi did an amazing job! They were extremely sweet and went above and beyond for us! They immediately sat us down and Lily helped us with any question we had on the entire menu with plenty of menu knowledge. They were beyond kind to us and other Servers also passing by were very kind as well! Definitely a wonderful spot to visit when coming to Bean Point

Despite an initially favorable impression of the sushi offerings, which were competently prepared, reasonably fresh, and ultimately acceptable, the remainder of the menu fell markedly short of what one would reasonably expect given the pricing and purported positioning of this establishment.
The dumplings were immediately recognizable as a mass-produced, frozen product commonly available through bulk retailers, and several of the chicken-based dishes appeared to consist of prepackaged, processed chicken strips indistinguishable from widely available commercial brands. Such shortcuts are difficult to justify at this price point and suggest a lack of culinary integrity and care.
While the sushi itself approached adequacy, the overall dining experience was deeply disappointing. This was particularly regrettable as the visit was intended to host out-of-town guests for what was expected to be a refined and memorable meal. Instead, the experience proved embarrassing and unrepresentative of quality dining. Regrettably, this establishment cannot be recommended, and prospective diners would be well advised to seek out alternative venues offering a more thoughtful and genuinely prepared menu.

Second time at this restaurant. Sushi was the best part. Food didn’t come out ALL at once (5pm reservation, so not busy) so we had that awkward moment when people want to eat, but not everyone has food so it feels wrong to start eating. Just
my upbringing. Kitchen/server should have timed things better. Biggest problem we had is that we were a party of 6 so they added gratuity to each party’s check, which is standard and ok. However, is NOT ok to NOT inform us straight away so one couple in the party almost double tipped until the wife asked what the “fee” was…just said FEE, not gratuity or service charge. So, confusion was caused and upset were feelings created with the servicer who seemed to be trying to get a double tip. Not Ok and we won’t be back for that kind of service. Too many great places to eat in the area.

Excellent restaurant. Reasonably priced, great service, ask for Frumi! It sits next to the water. We noticed some people driving in on pontoon boats to dine. Excellent views for a romantic evening.

If you enjoy taking your time eating dinner, then this is the place for you because it. Took. Time. We called ahead thinking they would be packed like the other restaurants on the Island, excited to return after their reopening. Upon arrival, it was tired and quiet and we were seated at the bar after expressing we’d like to be outside. Salads were good but slow to come out. Hoping our tempura appetizer would follow shortly after, we waited at least 15 minutes for the room temperature fried food. At that point and not to our surprise, the sushi rolls we ordered (ocean, volcano, Mexican & fire island) took an additional 35+ minutes to get to the table on a chipped plate. The sushi presentation was lacking and the flavors all melded together – nothing was distinct. During our many minutes of waiting, we saw one of the workers blatantly drink directly from a newly opened saki bottle by the bar. The bartender was friendly but again, turtle paced. Wish we waited in line for another restaurant in the area. Won’t be back any time soon, if ever.

Best thing about this place is its location on the water. Try to get there before sunset! Sushi is ok. Vegetable tempura is pretty
good. Everything is good but not great. A nice family owns the place. Perfectly adequate when you get a craving for Japanese food.

The sushi is fine, for my way of seeing it the price is a bit excessive, but the setting of the place proposes something a little more luxurious and the price accompanies that proposal.
The food is good there is a good variety of sushi, the sashimi table is quite complete, maybe not as much as in other places and the cuts are quite common for its price.
The atmosphere of the place is good, although it does not justify the value.
It is located in a marina with which the restaurant is surrounded by water and the landscapes at night are very beautiful.
