This turned out to be a good spot for everything we were looking for. Pasta and drinks it was, with some crazy stuff on the walls.
Just a moments drive from our hotel along Windward Dr., it could’ve easily been walked. Flat all around.
Staff was cool. They explained the fan/light thingy on the wall.
We now have another place to eat and drink nearby our annual stay.

Wow! Who knew the beach would have such a delicious Italian joint. Come hungry! The sauce was so robust and flavorful. The location is small. But can fit a family, friends, or a nice date night. Drink menu covers everything from wines to beach themed cocktails! The portions are hearty. Great for taking some home for leftovers. We liked it so much we visited twice over one weekend!

I ordered the Italian Sampler and my niece ordered the lasagna. Excellent! But my favorite was or are the meatballs! Oh! You have to try the Cannoli! Next time I’ll try the Tiramisu or the Limoncello for dessert!

We were on the island for the weekend and decided to dine at this restaurant, expecting authentic Italian food based on the good reviews. Unfortunately, it was a letdown. This place feels more like a bar than a proper restaurant. The food was served in to-go containers with plastic utensils—no plates, no glassware, nothing you’d expect from a sit-down Italian restaurant.
As for the food, it was just okay—nothing special, more like something you’d get at a chain restaurant like Olive Garden. We were hoping for something more authentic, but it lacked that homemade touch. Not sure if the management changed recently, but the experience did not match the reviews we saw. Definitely not what we expected.

I ordered take – out, I got Clams Casino. My other half got Blackened Ahi Tuna, everything was perfect. My sauce was creamy and rich, the salad came with homemade Italian dressing it was so delicious. Thank you to the cooks! The ladies were very nice over the phone and in person. We will definitely be going back to try other menu items.

First off, they were out of meatballs and that was the 1 thing I really wanted to try. I liked it but some of my other people who were with me didn’t like it. It had it’s ups and downs, the salad and as very good. The sauce I liked……some of my party thought it was way to sweet. The pizza was good and my daughter got the rib eye and loved it. I liked the connoli but I would get it without the chocolate sauce next time. I don’t remember her name of our waitress and I believe she had glasses and short red hair? Maybe the hair was a different color. She kept up with our drinks and was very polite. Come here if you want great Italian food.

We have been to Island Italian many times in the past, and thoroughly enjoyed the food and not experience.
But the temporary restaurant next to the Ace hardware does not meet expectations with the plastic cups and cutlery.
We are waiting on the food I hope it’s good.
Your defensive posture in your statement back to me. Shows a little bit of desperation since the food was very mediocre. The spaghetti that came with my chicken parmesan was crap and you should be ashamed to serve that. The chicken parmesan itself was very good. But your sauce is flat and could have used any sort of flavor. And I mean any flavor on reflection it was terrible, and ruin the meal as a whole.
You should be apologizing for my crappy experience at your restaurant. Good luck.
By the way. Your waitress gave us no options. And the McDonald’s cutlery would have been overlooked had it not been for the poor food.

I frequent this restaraunt a fair amount. I actually only order one thing most visits which is the The Works 9″ sub. It’s really tasty. My only complaint is that it is a little light on the meats. Very thin layer of meat but nonetheless still good. That’s the only reason for a 4 star on food. The few times that I had a sit down meal with actual food on a plate, it’s always been a very good meal.
