I was amazed by the variety of flavors, many of them unusual to find in an ice cream shop. I went for a Honey Lavender and Piña Colada cone, and I can only say they were exquisite. I was left wanting more because they were so delicious, and on top of that, the service was excellent.

This is such a great treat spot to try! We have dairy allergies and it is SO nice to find rare places like this that have allergy friendly flavors, nevertheless so many options! They have Italian ice and ice cream, as well as fudge. We tried the mint oreo ice cream and peanut butter chocolate chip. It was delicious. It’s all home made (at least the ice and cream, not sure about fudge). The employee on staff was so kind and cheerful and he spoke highly of the owner and his character. This will definitely be a favorite spot of ours for summer visits!

Delicious ice cream and beyond excellent service, the sweet gal working was so kind. We had the chocolate cheesecake, carrot cake, and salted caramel, all of them were fantastic. They had a lot of gluten free options too.

My wife and I loved this place. They have a wide variety and for those of you that are low carb they have sugar free options that tasted amazing. The workers there were also very personable and helpful. Definitely check them out.

This place is amazing and has something for everyone! Island Ice is my family’s favorite ice cream shop to visit. It’s family owned and has a changing menu of great home made ice cream, Gelato, smoothies, icees, milk shakes, malt shakes, and soft serve ice cream. I have been a type 1 diabetic for over 30 years and I have tried many sugar free desserts and Island Ice by far has the best tasting sugar free, diary free, and vegan options I have ever tasted plus I have tried almost all of their regular flavored ice creams too Our favorites are the “banana pudding” ice cream, “honey lavender” ice cream, “coffee and donuts” ice cream, sugar free raspberry gelato, and the “orange cream” icees. They even offer a sugar free whipped cream which is amazing! There’s always something great for everyone in my family to choose from and we love that the flavors are always changing and you can definitely tell that fresh ingredients are always used. We have visited Island Ice many times now and the shop is always very clean and even if the line is out the door it moves quickly and you cannot beat their prices. Since we are locals we purchased one of their refillable koozie cups because we can get refills of ice cream, Gelato, or icees at a discounted price in their shop or out on the beach from one of their mobile carts which is amazing on a hot sunny beach day with the kids. If you haven’t tried them yet you definitely need to!

Hands down best icecream at the beach. The flavors and ingredients are nothing short of creative genius. If you are looking for something not “Vanilla” (although thats good too) then I would give this quaint little spot a try. The are actually known for their Italian ice and have the carts on the beach.

I had the pistachio dairy free, and sugar free ice cream and it was absolutely delicious! You couldn’t even tell it was dairy free or sugar free at all it was so creamy and buttery tasting and the flavor was REAL pistachio not artificial tasting at all.I love that they sweeten it with stevia instead of those cheap artificial sweeteners. You can tell their ingredients are quality. I also had their dairy free peanut butter chocolate chip ice cream and that was delicious too. All of their flavors are well rounded and I will always come back here. It’s my favorite guilt free desert spot in Carolina beach !

Allergen friendly restaurant! Our son has egg soy and dairy allergies and we were all able to get something here! He got the Italian ice and our other dairy-free family members got ice cream. Fun for all. Good choices and flavors.
