Some good info to know. Food at Island House is great. Tacos come in quantity of three and they do not allow mix and match. The sweet potato tacos are amazing and unique. They have beer and wine, no alcohol. Parking is fairly easy. Indoor seating is very limited and is mostly outside. Tables are high tops. Little known fact is that they do offer a locals discount if you ask for it.

Island House Tap & Grill on Siesta Key is a fantastic spot for a laid-back meal with a true island feel. The food was great across the board—well prepared, flavorful, and clearly made with care. What really stands out is the solid selection of local beers on tap, making it an ideal place to sample Florida brews while relaxing after a day at the beach. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, perfectly matching the Siesta Key vibe, and the service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. A great choice for both food and drinks, and an easy place to come back to.

This little cute place is definitely worth your visit when in Siesta Key Village.
It’s a tiny indoor place with a few tables outside, when I walked in I was not sure about the place, I don’t know what I expected but my expectations were exceeded to the max. Thank you to Steve and Amber for serving us, guiding us through the food choices and extra kudos to Steve, he made me separate non-mayo dips so I didn’t have to miss out, it was amazing!
We had a few different things, the fried pickles as a starter is a must, so delicious, the America Burger, the filet mignon rice bowl. Everything 10/10. Lots of beer and wine choices as well!
You’re missing out if you don’t visit this cute little place.
Thank you guys!

This was our second visit to Island Tap House and it was just as great the second time as it was the first. Highly recommend the tuna nachos. The house salad was amazingly fresh, and although, a very basic salad, it was sooooo good! The house made ranch is very thick and I questioned it until I took a bite….delicious! Stop by. You will not be disappointed.

I ordered online, so no opinion on atmosphere and service. The food was not very good. I really wanted to like this place too. I ordered the chicken sandwich with duck fries. The chicken sandwich was missing the prosciutto and special lettuce. Horrible chicken sandwich. Also, no duck fries. Regular not very good fries. I won’t finish the sandwich and I’m giving the fries to my dog. Truly a 2
1.5/10. Especially considering how expensive this place is.

Island House Tap and Grill is a cozy place to get a meal in the village of Siesta Key. There’s not much seating available which makes it nice in my book. The atmosphere is what I’ve come to expect for Siesta Key restaurants which is very fitting and went along with the whole vibe of island theme. Our server was polite and attentive. Now to the food. It was excellent. High quality ingredients and everything is made from scratch. It’s a legit scratch kitchen. Everyone in our party enjoyed his or her food. If you like beer and wine on top of good food, the beer and wine selection is hard to beat as well.

So glad we stumbled on this place! Best Brussels I’ve ever had (no pic because they were eaten so fast). Mahi tacos and grouper sliders were also amazing. Stephen was an excellent server, great knowledge of fish/tastes and gave us some great local recs!

I’ve been here multiple times. The first time was great. The second time wasn’t so good as the service was really lacking and food wasn’t on par.
The last time I came a few days ago it was great! The service was really good and fast. Food came out super hot and everything was good. The first shrimp app was phenomenal and I highly recommend that dish. The steak tacos were good – could have used a little more crema but some hot sauce did the trick. The bowls they have are also very very good!
Overall if you’re in the key I highly suggest stopping by here for lunch. They have a lot of great options.

With a quaint setting in a totally chill and laid-back staff I was not exactly sure what kind of food I was going to get. To be honest with you I didn’t have very high expectations. Although a little pricey, I believe, the food tasted really good and I was pleasantly surprised!. You can tell the chef puts a little bit of love in his dishes. The presentation was really nice.
I don’t think you’d be disappointed when you visit this place in sarasota. The setting is really laid back but very satisfying.

We stopped in for a quick dinner before a concert and knew nothing about the place. We had a great meal (two different bowls), that was healthy to boot! Excellent selection of beers on tap and great selection of wines by the glass also, which is appreciated as beer/wine couple. Definitely check it out if you are in the area. They appear to do a brisk takeout business as well.
