The food was great! The staff was very friendly. They made our food pretty quick. We had a line of 6 people at the school, and we all got it in about 15 minutes, and it was very hot and fresh. I would come here again; Fry’s were very good and the pasta was good also. Jerk chicken was alright not that jerky.

Let me start by saying OMG!!!!! I have never had food cooked with such love!! It was SOOOOOO GOOD!! I had heard by word of mouth how great all the food was so when we went, we ordered Ox Tail, BBQ Chicken Wings, Jerk Pork, Pork Ribs and Rum Cake. The food has a Southern Comfort touch with all the heart and soul combined but with a Jamaican touch!! IT IS TO DIE FOR!!! Do not take it from me, go get you some!!! You will thank me later…..

Island Frydays catered our high school seniors last day of school outdoor party. They brought the complete Caribbean feel to our school. The food was outstanding- fresh, delicious and flavorful. The whole vibe was amazing. The seniors loved every moment of it. My favorite was the jerk chicken and rum cake. This is the perfect food truck for any party. And the bonus is the most nicest people run it.

Island Frydays came to Lakeland First Friday and I’m so glad they did. I got the oxtails, rice and peas and Mac and cheese. Everything was so delicious. Excellent flavors and the oxtail was super tender. Absolutely worth it and need to go back asap- I can’t wait to try everything else they have.

The BEST!!!!! I had my wife’s birthday catered at her family’s house in Lakeland. We live up in Boston, so this was arranged by text, email and Phone calls. Sasha was on top of everything, offering suggestions and understanding my needs. Everything was exactly (and better) than planned. My wife’s family is from Jamaica. And my mother in law can cook! So, when the compliments about the food started rolling in, I knew we had success. Island Frydays is legit!! Their food is incredible and the family is kind and friendly. I can’t say enough good about them. Perfect!

The absolute best Jamaican food I have ever had! It’s so hard to pick a favorite dish because everything I have tried has been top notch! The Jamaican wings are an absolute must try, as they literally fall off the bone and have the most amazing flavor. Sasha and Leo are some of the most sweetest and down to earth people whose love and passion truly show in each dish that is prepared. Island Fridays are now mine and my families favorite day!

This food truck was absolutely amazing! My husband and I split the oxtail and the jerk chicken cheese fries and we were in love! The woman who took our order was very kind, the trailer was very clean and well kept, and most of all they had absolutely amazing food!
