Tried a new Jamaican restaurant for us. Saw pretty good ratings, so thought we do a “Taste Test”… my partner in food ordered Curried Goat, candied yams, cabbage and I got two beef patties since I ate a little earlier. The Goat meat was seasoned just right and it was tender. They provide decent portions for your money so that is a definite plus. Give them a try! We will be back!

Love the fact that if you’re unable to place your order at the register, they do have a kiosk on the wall where you can place your order as well and pay. I ordered the salmon With peppers and onions, rice and peas, mac & cheese, and cabbage. Everything Was equal in flavor. The only thing I really didn’t care for was there was too much gravy on the rice. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was very friendly.

This is definitely one of the greatest jamaican spots i’ve been to. The portion sizes are HUGE especially for the price. The customer service is also amazing, they tend to remember their frequent customers as i’ve been back quite a few times after trying it for the first time . Would definitely recommend anyone to try and come to this spot. It’s not in the greatest location but that never bothered me.

This restaurant is decent but has room for improvement. I placed my order online 30 minutes ahead since I live a bit far. About 10 minutes before arrival, I received a polite call informing me they were out of jerk chicken and it would take an extra 10 minutes to prepare. Unfortunately, the order ended up taking an hour longer than expected before it was ready.
The woman I spoke with on the phone was very kind and professional, which I appreciated. The food itself was okay. Overall, I would suggest paying in person rather than online to avoid delays or issues with substitutions.

This is nice restaurant. Its always busy, I don’t mind waiting because the food is always great! I always get the vegetable plate with mac n cheese, yellow rice with curry gray and candid yams.

I’m from NYC and come from a Caribbean background, so I know good food. This place’s oxtail is mad sweet, to the point that it tastes like barbecue chicken it’s literally just drizzled in a bunch of bbq sauce. If you know you make sweet oxtail, why not just say that in the description? Not everyone likes a sweet taste in their food. It costs mad money, and I can’t even enjoy it. Their beef patties are mad sweet, too. What??? Is the chef trying to give people diabetes? Their goat is mad hard. The only good thing they have is ackee and saltfish. Everything else is hit or miss, in my opinion.

Hands down , one of the best Caribbean food spots I’ve tried in CLT. I’ve never been to the location but consistently order off Uber Eats. Portions are amazing , food taste amazing and I love how they tie up the back for delivery . Quality, clean, tasty food. Highly recommend .

As a New Yorker who is new to Charlotte, I was desperately trying to find good Jamaican food and this is the CLOSEST I’ve had compared to NYC Jamaican food. I got the jerk salmon w/ rice & peas with cabbage and curry/brown stew gravy. SO GOOD! Felt like I was back home which I didn’t think was possible here in Charlotte. Way better than the other two spots I’ve tried which is just not that good. My only critique is I wish the plantains came with the meal. I had to buy it separate. Back home if you get a meal, plantains are automatically included. Not a big deal and willing to overlook it bc the food was great. Oh and the prices are reasonable just like back home. Can’t wait to take my boyfriend here who is also a New Yorker. My new spot!!!! The other two places won’t be seeing me anymore!

I finally found my spot for Jamaican food in Charlotte. Best brown stew chicken I’ve had since moving here. It tasted just like Mama Mertz’s, my great grandmother. I wish the plantains were a bit dryer and overcooked, (personal preference) but they still tasted very good.
Ordering for delivery was easy on their website and the food came in a timely manner. I will definitely order from them again and recommend them to friends and family.
