This was one of my more poor decisions by making a choice to order from this restaurant. I wanted some jerk chicken and decided to order through Uber Eats. Luckily, I decided to try a small portion instead of a large, not knowing how the food tastes or what the restaurant was about. Unfortunately, the servicing size received was not even enough for a two year-old to fill up on. With Uber eats charging $11 per tray for a small lunch container sized jerk chicken and you don’t even receive the equivalent of one piece of chicken in the order is a real slap in the face! The jerk chicken is nothing special. It just taste like a lot of spice, but not seasoned spice like hot pepper sauce spice. The skin was rubbery. The portion was extremely small. Being honest, I’m not eating that. I’ll just take the loss. But my suggestion to you is if read this review and still feel like you just have to order from here, do not order off-line/ for delivery from this restaurant. The delivery is not Irie! There’s no respect given for delivery orders!! I believe you would at least receive a larger portion in person as they’re not going to deal with the interaction of someone in person receiving two minuscule pieces of nothing versus sending anything to someone’s house because it’s being delivered. Also, I requested sweet sauce for the jerk chicken to cure it if it didn’t taste good and of course there was none put on the chicken or on the side. Just touching the skin and feeling that it was not crisp but soft and then to taste in the tip of my finger. It tasted like nothing but hot pepper sauce. There’s nothing authentic or Jamaican about that and I don’t think you guys should advertise yourselves as such! As seen when I came to the reviews to share my unfortunate experience, if this is the type of business that you’re going to engage in, you’re going to loose more customers than gain. Always remember no sustainable business is built on just a one time purchase! It’s the repeat business and referrals that make the magic happen… Good luck!

I ordered the oxtail with extra gravy on the rice and steamed veggies. This is my first time eating from here (i ordered online) and it tastes very good!!! At first it smelled unpleasant but, the taste was a 10/10 for me. The meat was tender, flavorful, and everything tasted great. I saw a lot of bad reviews on this but, this was pretty good, might even order again! They give good portion sizes considering this is a medium. It was not salty at all either. Its hard to find good/decent oxtail nowadays I would’ve given a 5 star if they put sweet plantain with it like how you’re supposed to but, tasted great nonetheless. I’ll order again to see if they are consistent with the quality and i will give an update!

I had to write a review because my food just came and i am satisfied!!! Every time i order from here it’s on point. And because i’m not close to the location when i order i can never make up my mind so i order everything. I will always recommend the Escovitch porgies, the stew chicken, and the soup… omg the soup! I’ve had the chicken noodle and stew peas and both are excellent. I mainly order through uber eats, so i appreciate that if they are sold out of something they’ve called me to ask if i wanted an alternate which has at time been something that costed more. Delish!

This is my first and last time I’m ordering from this place.. I was so hungry and craving some jerk chicken. First thing whoever made that macaroni pie needs to buy a recipe book or be fired because who make macaroni pie without cheese and looks the way it is in the photo I just posted?

My first and last. order from this place. I ordered jerk chicken and got baked chicken. the small is an infant size with less the one piece of meat. I requested festival and recieved a chicken wing. This is my personal experience I received. Maybe in the future my review will cause better service. For now Ill eat some where else

I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. The snap of fish was dry, full of scales, and overpriced. The Rasta pasta was a disgrace a literal slap in the mouth disgusting. It was so dry no sauce and I paid $40 for every nasty thing! This place needs to be shut down. CLEAN YOUR FISH PROPER!!!

Big up uh self chef, food taste good! Island Flavaz & Seafood is an authentic Jamaican restaurant in New York. Each dish is crafted with traditional recipes, the chef is a country man so you know every bite going to make you feel like you at a cook shop in the Caribbean. The jerk chicken and festival, praising the perfect blend of spices and flavors. With a one drinking youth the vibe was nice, it’s more than just a meal; it’s an experience to savor.

I ordered a large jerk pork from Uber eats and when the tray arrived it was a large order of jerk pork fat.. not 1 piece of fat had any meat attached to it.. every single piece was fat…. A waste of my money.. I do not recommend
