The food is delicious! The griot and Tasso were both juicy and tender and cooked to order. The rice and sos pwa also perfect! I’m not a fan of Accra but theirs was delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Jean was very polite and kept me company while I waited for my food. I’m a New Yorker and have not been able to find a Haitian restaurant near me here that made me feel like I was getting a home cooked meal that tastes like my mom’s. This was my first time here, but it won’t be my last. I can’t wait to try their soup on the weekend!!

The food was delicious! I was skeptical about eating here because it’s not the nicest looking restaurant. I would suggest for them to put some effort into the look so it doesn’t turn people away . I’m glad I stuck it out because my stew chicken was perfection . The woman working the restaurant didn’t seem friendly upon arrival but she lighted up later .

This is the best Haitian restaurant in Haines city. I was having a hard time finding some good authentic Haitian food until I came across here. I come here multiple time a month and it has never disappointed me. Customer service is also very good .

I found this restaurant by accident and now I order from them every week! The food is always authentic, delicious, and full of flavor. The customer service is amazing—everyone is so kind and helpful. They definitely have a forever customer in me!

Really authentic island food, I have a Haitian friend who only chose to eat here because of authenticity.
Only because it’s small and not appearing as most restaurants did I give 4 stars…the service was fine and atmosphere different from a formal restaurant.
However, the food was very good, next time I will try the goat, and ox tail but the chicken and rice beans, with plantains enough fir two meals ….
Although not in a fantastic area I suppose it’s why they close early….but coming from NYC id say it’s safe during their hours especially around 6 p.m.

Food was incredibly tasty.
Smelled it for days walking by on other errands. Finally decided to take my wife to check it out on our anniversary. Was not disappointed.
Prices were fair, generous portions and to quote my wife “I think this is the best pork I’ve ever had in my life!”
Only “complaint” I can think of is the lack of AC but the food, and friendly welcoming staff more than made up for it.
Definitely gonna be a regular stop for us!

If you a real Haitian you know this ain’t it.Im very sorry but for my first time there I am ashamed.The food has a burnt taste the macaroni was dry and burnt. I wish I did not spend 70 something dollars on this.Please beware.
