This family-owned Filipino restaurant is a true gem! Huge portions, unbeatable prices, and dishes made with love. The lumpia is perfectly crisp, pansit savory and fresh, and the adobo chicken tender and flavorful. Warm, welcoming, and authentic—comfort food done right!

I got the island chicken adobo and it was great. Friendly service, tasty food at a good value. The lumpia were fresh and crispy, and the sauce was perfect. Sweet and spicy. Yum!

Setup kinda like a diner inside.. that plays the oldies jukebox music. I felt like I was zapped into the 80’s and loved it.
The staff was quick friendly and efficient. I had the cod fish with mashed taters and onion rings. It came with garlic toast. Taters we’re homemade and delicious. The cod was tasty too. Good portion, I was full.
Then I had the Italian lemon cream cake and it was fresh, moist and delicious. Old school vibe 😉

The lady was so nice and I wanted to be able to give this more stars! I went at 2:45pm, which probably means all the food was less fresh and should be taken into account.
The food sits in a warmer, it isn’t made fresh. The pork Adobe was really really good. The lumps was freezer burnt and like warm, the rice has a wierd taste, and the pancit wasn’t that great either.
Again, I might give those another try because I love Philippino food, but other than the nice lady and good small portion of pork… It was pretty bad.

The food is great, but the last time I tried to visit the place was closed in the middle of the day. What was odd was that there were two open signs displayed prominently in the windows, but the door was locked and the lights were off.
I understand that Bremerton is a small town and Kitsap runs on “Island time”, but if you do close in the middle of the day please take the Open signs down.
As I was riding away a few other people in the area asked if they were open and were disappointed when I told them No. So there’s definitely demand in the middle of the day.

Delicious Filipino cuisine. It has been many years since I last consumed lumpias. The food is fresh and the portion size is generous. Try it. You’ll like it!

I enjoyed the Island Chicken Adobo with lumpia. This is a good take away restaurant to visit in the future and enjoy while sitting near the water.

My whole experience was EXCEPTIONAL. The chicken adobo lumpia pancit and rice MAGNIFICENTLY DELICIOUS I wish I had ordered 2 meals so I wouldve had one for the next day!! The gentleman behind the counter was so kind and personable. Island Cuisine will be a new tradition every time I head over to Bremerton.
