I ordered the Chicken and dumpling soup and the Rasta Pasta– both are delicious! The soup feels like a warm hug, it is flavorful and hearty. The pasta has the perfect amount of spice and sauce. I will be ordering from here again! Dickinson is lucky to have a place like this that is reasonably priced, with excellent, freshly-made meals at that. If you’re craving a home-cooked meal, this is your place!

The food is simply incredible, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The meat is so fresh, tender, and non-greasy. Food portions are large and enough to feed two. Food is delivered hot in a timely manner. Prices are more than reasonable.
I highly recommend the Jamaican curry chicken with Haitian rice and cabbage…. Chefs kiss *muah* Ox tail, coconut curry shrimp, and spicy coleslaw are all top notch excellent choices as well. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu here.
The owners are super friendly, make you feel more than welcomed and show great appreciation to their customers. I love the music that is played as you dine, it’s very calming, relaxing, transporting you to a exotic beach. The restaurant is tiny and intimate which is great for dates.

Island Cuisine is a hidden gem, nestled in an old school building on 7th Street in Dickinson, ND. The owner is super friendly and kind, the food is amazing, and the drinks are refreshing. We came by here on a road trip home to Minnesota from Idaho, needing some food to refuel for the long drive, and we found exactly what we needed. I am keeping this on the list in case we come through Dickinson again.

Can’t say enough great things about this place. Staff is attentive and very friendly, and the food is incredible. I had the jerk chicken with Haitian rice and pikliz and I can’t stop thinking about it. I wasn’t expecting to find such great and flavorful Caribbean food in the middle of North Dakota. Anyone coming through town needs to check this spot out. I’ll be looking for a reason to drive through Dickinson soon.

Dickinson’s hidden gem! The chicken curry is so hearty, tender & fall off the bone delicious – I recommend ordering an extra gravy to pour over the rice. The steamed cabbage is the best thing ever. Definitely comfort food made with love. The owners are always so personable & friendly when I come in. The chicken stew is also amazing! Could eat this every night & not get sick of it! If you haven’t tried it yet you’re seriously missing out!

Really nice place. I had no idea when I came to Dickinson I would be able to get Jamaican food. The restaurant has both Jamaican and Haitian inspired dishes. The owner was very nice, restaurant was clean and service was great. I got the Curry Goat and it was fantastic! 10/10 would recommend and will be coming back next time I am in town!

First-timer, and they are more oriented to take out than eat in. BYO plates and silverware next time That said, the curry goat was very flavorful as were the sides. Tasted like Jamaica to me. What a treat to have this in Dickinson.!!

Nice place in a old hospital, food is great, if you don’t like spicy, don’t order the jerk chicken. For me, I like it.
