First time here and it was exactly like the rest of the locals said it was. Great food. Friendly service. The fries to share were huge! We didn’t need anything extra. I had the 1/3 Bacon Cheeseburger and it was good. Plenty of add ons to choose from but I did not see BBQ sauce on the list. All in all a great experience and I truly hope they survive off peak season. They also have plenty of Merch!!!!!

I don’t usually eat hamburgers out in public BUT THIS WAS AMAZING. They also had a 100% rating on the cleanliness of their food and restaurant highly recommend their food. It was super good and the fries were great. The portions were perfect for the price of money would definitely eat here again.

I’ve heard so much hype about this place so we decided to pick up a burger to share for lunch. Usually when we have been by here it’s packed and you can’t find a parking spot. We went inside for a to go order. Plenty of seating and somewhat clean. I guess patrons don’t know how to pick up after themselves, there was trash left around the trash can bins. Our wait time to place order was only a few minutes. Lots of young ones working and they had a good system going with food prep. We ordered a 1/3 pound cheeseburger with chili and slaw. It was overpriced for $10 + tax. We considered adding onion rings but $8 was pretty steep. I’d say the burger was mediocre, I was expecting more from the great reviews.. just not for us.

Stopped in for a burger. Ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and grilled onions, mushrooms and jalapeños. Bun was firm enough to hold all the ingredients. Very delicious. Nice interior for the building. Only downside is kind of pricey.

This place rocks! I had the 2/3 lb double cheeseburger add bacon with mustard, chilli, slaw, fresh jalapenos and onions. The burger was really big and fresh. The beef was hot and well seasoned. The toppings were really good quality and the cheese was plentiful. Over all this was the best burger I have ever had. Would definitely go back here again.

This place was delicious, like an elevated Cook Out, but with alcohol and better buns. We grabbed 2 beers, a mixed drink, a Philly, and two burgers (mine being a double burger so mighty it could have its own zip code), all for about $50. For the beach, that’s basically highway robbery in our favor.
The food? Honestly impressive. That double burger wasn’t just good, it was life-changing. Juicy, stacked like a Jenga tower, and powerful enough to make me question every other burger I’ve had before. The Philly was solid, and the drinks? Let’s just say they vanished faster than my self-control in a Taco Bell drive-thru.
The biggest surprise? The wait time. Friday night crowd, place buzzing, and I was ready to age a decade waiting, but nope. Food landed on the table in about half the time I expected. I don’t know what magic they’re working back there, but I respect it.
I really wanted to come back for round two before leaving Carolina Beach, but time ran out. Next trip, though? That double burger and I have a date with destiny.

Having been a fan of Island Burgers and Bites for a couple of years, I was quite surprised by their new location. Instead of serving out of a convenience store with outdoor seating, they now have a bright and cheerful new location with indoor seating.
I had the 1/3 lb. Hamberguger and have to say it was even better than what I had in the past. I also enjoyed the fries.
The staff are amazing and the orders are handled efficiently. I will be back whenever I’m in Carolina Beach.

Hamburgers were good but they were not able to figure out how to make a BLT, even though it was on the menu. We ordered online for takeout and when we got home we found that the BLT was just two pieces of toasted bread. Too much trouble to go back and complain so the two pieces of toast became a turkey sandwich. Disappointing! The bread in the photo does look half eaten because my kid was hungry and couldn’t wait.

Absolutely loved this place! The best burger my family has ate in a long time! They have a large variety of any and everything you want to add to your burger. Delicious They have indoor & outdoor seating. Friendly employees and even one guy as soon as people left there table he would clean for someone else to sit. They are very busy and still orders came out quick. Made when ordered comes out hot and good.

Great burgers & fries! Our grands loved the chicken tenders too! The hot dog was definitely great as well. The chili and slaw were both so good on the hotdog. I love that they serve coke products as well. We got there right at opening. It gets busy quickly. Service was great. We will definitely go back!
