I will tell a joke but not a lie.Today I came in fresh off a long overnight shift so hungry & restless couldn’t describe my mood.ordering my food I noticed this one worker her name started with a t i believe it was Tatiana if I’m spelling it right and she was the only worker there by the register,the shop was pretty packed but even my food still came out hot and fresh. I ordered the sweet and spicy wing with their flavorful fries & a sorrel drink to go with it. I was happy with my order everything smelt so good and the girl at the front accommodated for all my needs with their sauces and the overall atmosphere was nice for my first time going here ! I like doing reviews on shops in Brooklyn and this restaurant & their employee Tatiana definitely wins over my vote!

Its delicious absolutely not long wait time and no place to dine in also affordable if ur hungry but I am disappointed it don’t leave any impact on me I hear about this place alot but unfortunately just staff is good and helpful but the tase is disgusting French fries and see food never recommended

Last night my experience was amazing at this restaurant! It was my first time and I didn’t know what I wanted I was so indecisive(as always) lol! This sweet women named Tatiana saved the day for me she told me to get the shark bites with French fries and the sauces on the side which were very tasty she was so polite and patient with me that entire time she even told me to have a seat and my order will be done shortly there was also this other girl that was helpful also I asked for Tatiana’s number I even texted her that the food was amazing and I will be sure to come back what a great person you have on your team between the smiles the laughs and the conversation overall was a great way to treat your customers thank you so much dear!I encourage all my NY residents like me to try here you’ll love it like me and my friends did!!

Got my order messed because they’re so in a rush all the time…. I ordered crispy chicken strips and sweet potato fries… I got a dry chicken sandwich with nothing on it…. CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE…. I got home already and didn’t even call them because what would they do anyway? Sorry? I dot even know if this is of equal price…. This place use to be great… food taste fell off and service is bad now….

Food was amazing and packed properly, there is a new girl I believe her name is Tatiana tall light skin with glasses, she was so nice to me smiled the entire time helped me choose what I wanted to eat even though I’m a regular I wanted to try something different she was taking phone orders and mine in store order while giving the orders to the delivery guys what a great multitasker! This was one of my best experiences I ever encountered here I even sent over my co worker and they had nothing but good things to say about her.Idk I just like when someone shows respect when speaking to me ,I’m a people person after all .Definitely check this place out if uu haven’t already .

This place used to be one of the better food establishments in Brooklyn. It has fallen way off. Service most notably fell off. The cashiers are a little rude. The food which used to be prepared fresh now tastes stale. Come on how are the fries gonna be stale?! SMH miss the old island burger.

I have been buying from Island Burger for 3 years now and it’s just getting worse and worse. Every time I say let me support my neighborhood black-owned restaurant I get disappointed. Usually, they use a white box this time everything was stuffed in this small brown box. Let’s talk about the burger patty that’s not 8oz as stated on the mention and is usually bigger and fuller they started giving low quality and mind you the price raised this is crazy, the fries are also hard. I’m done this is my last time I wasn’t going to do a review but I think it will help them after seeing better what they are serving because people are spending their coins they’re not begging. The customer service needs to work on they have been hiring young girls whose attitude is very nasty towards customers and they are not welcoming at all. Do better, please.

The customer service is really good and the employees are helpful. The plexiglass makes it hard to communicate with the employees even with the little holes in it but it was workable.
I had the chicken wings and fries the first time i went which was yesterday, and it was REALLY good. the wings were well seasoned but my only problem was that it seems like the wings weren’t cleaned properly. There was tendons and fat all over the outside under the crust if you know what i mean. so i made it hard to enjoy the outside.
today, i tried the fried shrimp and fries. it was also well seasoned but the batter seemed too thin. like the crust on the outside needs to be thicker, but overall it was really good.
today, i also tried the mac & cheese. it has a salty crust of cheese on top and creamy mac and cheese underneath. it looks really good but the taste is kind of weird. it’s like slightly sweet with a spicy undertone. the actual mac and cheese needs more salt and the cheese that was put on top needs to be less salty. it was okay but i wouldn’t buy it again.
garlic sauce, tamarind sauce, and bbq sauce is an unmatched combination!
UPDATE: I don’t think I’ll stop until I try everything on their menu and even after that I don’t think I’ll stop!! The crispy chicken strips and sweet potato fries are literally perfection!! It’s sooooo good and well seasoned. Im in love!!

I ordered a grilled chicken burger and a salmon burger. You’re probably asking…where’s the chicken? Exactly! There was so much bread and very little chicken. As for the salmon burger .. very salty! The fries was good though.
