Such a great breakfast spot. Bagels are delicious. I’m dairy free, so having avocado, always fresh, as an alternative is so nice. My husband has a gluten allergy and having a gf bagel that tastes great and easy to get always gets us coming back. Kids love it too! Definitely go and try it out!!

Best sausage egg and cheese I’ve ever had! I tried the bagel of the day which was bacon and cheese. I also had the sweetest lady take my order. She was super friendly and even gave me bacon for my dog when I mentioned she was in the car. They were also super quick. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience at this place and even went twice due to the excellent service. The bagels were delicious! I got a regular egg, bacon and cheese bagel and my husband got the gluten free, sausage egg and cheese and both were delicious . The ladies at the counter were so helpful and knowledgeable about everything and helped us greatly. I will definitely go back there next time I am at Carolina Beach!

Household full of soon to be college students with a big appetite, Island Bagel provided the best breakfast bagels for our crew of 12. The Asiago was the top choice with our gang topped with anything from lox to Sausage, Egg and Cheese. They have a day flavor so check that out because it isn’t one on the menu. We had regular and gluten free bagels both were fabulous. The cream cheese was ample atop these cooked to perfection bagels. The staff was quick and super friendly. They had us in and out in no time. They even have a drive thru!

Update 8/5/25… was in the area and stopped in again today. So amazing and the gentleman that helped me out was very nice. If you want to have the most bagel options go early in the morning as they sell out fast! Thank you for the best bagel sandwich.
Island bagel was amazing!! Came to Carolina beach for my birthday and had to try this place. Missing bagels from my hometown in NY, living in NC now this definitely hit the spot. This was a first visit for us and we loved it! They were a bit more busy on a Monday, due to it being Memorial Day, but what great service and delcious bagels! The multigrain with cream cheese, and everything bacon, egg& cheese we tried were fantastic! We got a half dz to take home and we’ll be dreaming about bagels tonight.

I was disappointed with my recent visit. I specifically requested a bagel toasted twice with a light spread of cream cheese. Instead, I received a completely untoasted bagel overloaded with cream cheese — the exact opposite of what I asked for.
To add to the disappointed experience, the employee taking and preparing my order was wearing earbuds and appeared to be engaged in a personal conversation the entire time. This lack of focus and professionalism was evident.
Attention to customer instructions and basic courtesy were clearly lacking.

Very cool place, people were very nice. They actually know how to make a proper bagel… toasted beautifully. the cream cheese, we got two different types was terrific … i had a toasted asiago. It was chewy and crunchy and still soft and perfect. Like I said you how to do a bagel here.

P.S. Order the Neptune sandwich. It’s a bagel w your choice of cheese, plus, cream cheese, onion, jalapeño, hot sauce, egg, bacon and sausage. U will not be disappointed
