This might be the best mexican restaurant we’ve dined in at (better than the one in Texas). I know the menu is all the same but this one is just more tasty! Everything was cooked perfectly. Even the flan wasn’t too sweet.. the chips they serve were thicker and better flavor, the salsa was even better. I normally don’t like corn totilla but i liked this one, the flour torrilla was also perfect. I can’t wait to try other selection.

Went on an adventure to the petrified forest and after hiking through the desert in 100° weather decided to stop by here for Mexican food.. I was so glad I did because it was absolutely delicious.. the service was great the food was great and there was no way I could eat it all and have leftovers.. Isla is the best Mexican spot in Richland, though there is not a huge amount of local competition. Isla is a favorite of the north Richland working stiffs for lunch and can get busy. They have a wide ranging menu of all the typical Mexican favorites. A personal favorite is the Crab and Shrimp Salad, which comes LOADED with real crab meat and bay shrimp in equal proportion. They also serve Huevos Rancheros which many places do not, which also are very good. You really can’t go wrong here. The chips and salsa are typically served with spicy and mild salsa options together. A good bean dip would be a great addition. Their post-pandemic prices have escalated substantially. Expect most lunch options to run $15-$18 and dinner options about $5 more than that as of mid 2023.

We came here on Mother’s day and had a wonderful experience. The Customer Service was absolutely fantastic. We were greeted immediately. Our water, chips and salsa were monitored well and refilled quickly. The dinner itself was fantastic. But truly the people that work here are just beyond friendly. Will always come back here.

Excellent food! I do not like spicy. My Significant Other does. We can both get our food “our way” and be happy. I love the taco salad, SO likes the steak with the peppers. Excellent service. Our favorite for Mexican food!

All the authentic Mexican flavors at this location. All staff was very helpful and great service. Food was preped quickly and served about 10 min after our order. Love the fireplace towards the front of the restaurant.

The food and service has always been great here. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because they’ve really raised their prices and made their portion sizes smaller. I can understand doing one or the other but not both. I used to dine here once a week but now only dine here once in a great while for that reason.

Generic Mexican restaurant with typical entrees. The salsa was pretty decent and had a bit of a bite. I felt that the entrees were a bit under seasoned and lacked flavor. I felt a bit saddened that I would have to pay extra for more salsa and chips. The dining room was a bit dark and could have used more light.
