Wonderful pastries and other yummy goods. Zombie service. I guess being friendly or efficient isn’t a requirement for seasonal employees. It took the employee forever to ring up two iced café lattes with two pastries. It would be faster to buy plane tickets at the airport. But the indoor seating had great air conditioning and overall a relaxed shore vibe

Great food, ok coffee.
I have been going to Isabel’s for years, their quality and service remains the same year over year. The pastries are fresh and reasonably priced for the quality. I highly recommend the crumb cake, but get there before 8:30 or they will likely sell out. Breakfast sandwiches are great too.
I had the crumb buns, feta Spanish pastry, and chocolate croissant, this last visit, I would recommend them all. The only disappointment for me is the coffee. I find it to be ok, but there are better places in Avalon for coffee.
They have some inside seating but mostly outside.

We tried both the iced latte and hot latte and both were good! The breakfast sandwiches and paninis are also great. 🙂

The food is always great and fresh! The service is spotty — the young staff today seemed more interested in socializing behind the counter than making sure orders were properly fulfilled and in a timely manner (despite it being before the lunchtime rush). The girl who took our order seemed bothered to be working and preferred to flirt with the other male staff than tend to the needs of the customers — a little friendliness/professionalism would go a long way!!

Wanted something different so I stopped here got a couple things two vanilla cupcakes with chocolate icing a apple fritter and a jelly donut also a chocolate croissant the apple fritter and chocolate croissant for for my dad and the two cupcakes for for my daughter my dad liked both the things I got him my daughter like the cupcakes and I liked the donut everything was fresh the service was great the place is clean will definitely come back for the pastries didn’t try the food that will be the next visit

Came in searching for blueberry pie, and purchased the blueberry peach pie. The pie was amazing!! Lots of fresh blueberry and peach flavor not over powered with sugar or cornstarch with a great crust. We also ordered smoothies, which were huge and a meal in and of themselves. The croissants were rather average but my husband liked his bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Cute place and friendly service.

We ordered takeout from Isabel’s in Avalon and it was incredible! We got six different sandwiches, and every single one was so good: fresh ingredients, great flavors, and made with care. I had the chicken Caesar wrap and it was especially delicious, the chicken was tender, the lettuce super crisp, and the dressing had just the right tang!!
And to make things even better, they surprised us with half a chocolate cake for free! It was such a kind gesture that really made our day. You can tell this place takes pride in both their food and customer service. We’ll definitely be coming back every time we’re in Avalon!

I have to be honest, probably one of the best crème brûlée I’ve ever had… first time coming here I will say that people are super friendly took a last-minute order and allowed me to get some soup and a crème brûlée to go… the soup was a tomato basil. It was delicious as well… just not as good as the crème brûlée. Ha ha ..

The donuts and sticky buns look great but were dry and bready. Similarly, the bacon egg cheese bagel sandwich was dry, boring, and flavorless. Otherwise, it’s a nice venue and the staff was friendly and helpful.
