We went for breakfast and everything was so nice. The place is roomy, clean, the food is good and the service was nice. We had the western omelet, Mexican omelet and burrito Feliz.

Our table server was noticeably unfriendly. I tried to be understanding in case they were having a bad day, but the attitude felt excessive.
I came with friends to have a good time and chose this place specifically after reading positive reviews, so the service was disappointing. The server looked visibly irritated, and because it was noisy, they repeatedly asked me to repeat my order. Instead of stepping closer to hear better, they stayed where they were and had me point at the menu to confirm. In the end, the wrong item still came out.
I avoided interacting with that server as much as possible and asked another staff member for a coffee refill because I felt uncomfortable. Honestly, it got to the point where we barely touched our food. It made me wonder whether the staff disliked us or if something could have been done to the food, which completely ruined our appetite.
On top of that, the food arrived quite cold.
If you work in service, I don’t think it’s appropriate to show that level of frustration so openly to customers.
Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

When we arrived through the front door, it seemed to be very inviting as there were several vases of flowers, small and large throughout the restaurant. We chose to dine inside although there was an option to dine outside which probably doubled the overall dining capacity. I would like to mention that only the front of the restaurant was covered by a retractable awning for outside dining and although there was seating alongside the restaurant, it was not all that inviting IMO. The service was pleasant although they seemed standoffish, not in a rude way, but just odd (something we have never experienced, so it can’t be described). Ordered some apple juice and the usual coffee which was below average, not much body to it. One dish, the Cafe Benedict was very good, ordered without the spinach which they gladly accommodated. It had perfectly cooked eggs that oozed the delectable yolk over the dish, totally delicious. The Mexican omelette was delicious, however, it just missed the mark compared to other omelettes in comparison. I could not discern any sausage (the menu didn’t mention what type of sausage and I guess I now know why) in the omelette, although the other ingredients were evidently present. Enjoyed the guacamole (very tasty), salsa (very mild) and sour cream that accompanied the omelette, all were used with the dish. Due to my personal taste, I had to add some Cholula sauce that was on the table with my omelette (my favorite hot sauce BRW) as the salsa provided had a very mild heat to it. Both dishes came with home fries that were excellently seasoned which, unfortunately, we could not finish. The rye toast was buttered and delicious. Have to mention that parking on the street outside the restaurant can only be paid by the “Park Mobile” app, if you so desire . There is a Dunkin next door, but it appears they monitor their lot for non customers which I can’t disagree with. Overall it was a good breakfast, however, the experience was not as we expected. I wouldn’t discourage anyone to try it, just not our cup of tea as it just felt “off”.

We love going to breakfast at Isabella’s and are proud regulars! My favorites are the Huevos Rancheros, Aztec Soup, and the Eggs Benedict. The food is always fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. Highly recommend this cozy spot for anyone in Ventnor!

My wife and i came here looking for new places for breakfast, the food was very good and the places ans decor looks great. One thing we noticed which many other have said is that our check was given to ua before we even finish eating, it was kind of telling us to hurry up, didnt appreciate that.
Overall great place for breakfast.

Always fresh and tasty breakfast at Isabellas. The waitstaff is quick and friendly. The coffee is good, just a bit weak for us though. We always make sure to grab at least 1 breakfast while visiting Ventnor.

One of the greatest hidden treasures in Ventnor City is ISABELLA’S CAFE; it’s directly behind the Dunkin Donuts at the corner of Portland & Ventnor Avenue. -It’s so unobtrusive, that many people miss the small wall sign on the Ventnor Avenue side advertising the Cafe.
Isabella’s Cafe fronts onto the cross-street,
(Portland Avenue) and has a pleasant, outdoor seating area, with an awning for sun protection. Once you enter, there is a cozy area in the front for small groups or couples, as well as a larger additional space for extra seating.
The attractive, friendly staff were very well-versed in different menu options, and had helpful suggestions.
I chose the ‘ Steak & Eggs ‘, ( with BACON!!), and enjoyed several cups of bottomless coffee, while sitting with a nice window view.
The owner is a very pleasant woman, who has been at this same location since 2008.
This business, as all restaurants do, deserves the support of the community, especially after this pandemic. Try to tip well, a few dollars can mean so much to someone struggling.
There were several other patrons inside having a lively conversation.
My Steak & Eggs arrived, cooked perfectly,
a very nice way to start the day, before going to the Ventnor Boardwalk.
The Cafe has both a Daytime and Evening menu, pictures of both are included in my review.
They also sell comfy sweatshirts for your friends.
I took pictures of the Cafe from all three sides, to make it easier to spot. If you are coming from the Boardwalk, it is only a short two blocks for a excellent and reasonably-priced meal. It is also a popular spot in the evenings for couples.
As a disabled person in a wheelchair, I have to say they went out of the way to accommodate me; I also made it a point to check out the wheelchair-accessable bathroom.
( Clean and nicely decorated)
Give them a fair try,
I think you’ll be very happy.

Food was nice, atmosphere was nice, only issue is they served watered down iced coffee (7$ a piece) and it was disappointing and then even though neither of us drank them and asked them to take it back they still tried to charge us. Look at the photos, does that look watered down? Do either of them look good?

Their home fries were so good.
The girl came to take my plate, and I wasn’t done because I wasn’t leaving one single bite.
Today, I came in to try their veggies wrap with fries, and again, they did not disappoint.
While visiting this month, I will definitely come back, and I recommend this cute little spot, especially for a date night.
You do need reservations for dinner, but if you want to eat outside, they can accommodate you if there are free tables.

I had the steak and eggs for breakfast, and it was delicious. I forgot what my husband had but it came with guacamolé and that was some of the freshest guac I’ve had in a long time. It was really good. We also ordered french toast. The service was very good. It is a small dining area with seating outside. The owner I’m assuming was walking around and engaging with everyone. It was a very welcoming environment.
