We enjoyed having lunch at Isabella’s Pizzeria on Airline Highway. The atmosphere is very casual and spacious. The menu selections are wide, with a lot to choose from. My meat lovers pizza was very good and huge. My wife had the meatball sub which was very good. Our server was friendly and super attentive. A great spot.

First of all wife and I had a calzone which was very good. We had come in with a 225 coupon which allowed us a discount. We each ordered a glass of house wine, there was no wine menu and not listed on the main menu. The calzone came with a small little plastic cup of marinara we asked for an additional cup. In finishing our meal and looking at the bill we noticed $24 for two glasses of house white wine. An upcharge of a dollar for small little additional plastic cup of marinara. I would think a restaurant that would offer a discount in order to bring people in and enjoy they’re outing and meal would be doing this to entice them to come back to their restaurant. We will never go back to this restaurant as it seemed that they are trying to take advantage of us as we came in with a discount coupon.

Sinan the Owner is a phenomenal person and business owner! This is a true local restaurant. His family puts so much love in their work and it shows! I have had all of their pasta and most of their pizzas! It was all fresh, quality ingredients and delicious! I have had catering from them as well and the service and food quality was outstanding! I highly recommend them for your average lunch and dinner place as well as catering for your next event. But the best part is their homemade tiramisu!

My boyfriend and I rode in from the Trace on our bikes to have lunch here – the sidewalks were easily accessible. When we’re seated, we both felt a little nervous reading the amount of negative reviews on yelp, Facebook, etc. Ultimately decided to not be deterred and I’m so glad we didn’t. Ordered a large Four Seasons – delicious! The hand tossed crust was perfectly cooked and the ingredients tasted fresh. Only reason for knocking a star, the service could have been a little better. There were quite a few tables and only two waitresses, but it appears the restaurant is trying to hire additional staff considering the help wanted signs posted outside. We’ll be back!

My boyfriend and I decided to try a local pizza business and were very disappointed! We ordered over the phone for pickup. Upon arrival, there was no one at the host stand, which is understandable considering there weren’t many people dining in. I wasn’t greeted by the server, but I remained patient until other customers walked in and were directed and greeted immediately. After walking up to the bar, another customer who arrived after me was served first. I felt as if I was treated this way for racially motivated reasons.
After arriving home already dissatisfied with the service, I found that the pizza was much smaller compared to the photos online. It was also very poorly cut, as if the presentation of a $22 XL pizza didn’t matter. I called the store to resolve my issue and was told to bring the pizza back in order to receive a refund. The OWNER, who reiterated his position to me multiple times, raised his voice and was very agitated that I called him. After he didn’t help at all, I decided to share my experience in the store with the OWNER. He didn’t care to hear a word I was saying and instead kept asking me, “What do you want me to do about it?” LOL . I’m not sure, sir, but maybe focus on making your services worth paying for so customers come back. These customers will NEVER return.

This was the absolute worst pizza and service I’ve ever had from a restaurant before. I drove 20 minutes to pick up a pizza and drove 20 minutes back home just for the pizza to be raw throughout. There was also a total of 6 pepperonis (yes, only 6) on the entire pizza. When I called to let them know about the raw pizza I spent over $22 on, I was told I needed to drive 20 minutes back and hand deliver the pizza back to them. I offered to send videos and photos, because the gas money and time to get there and back home again isn’t even worth bringing it back – they said no. They also claim to have handmade dressings when they clearly handed me a small cup of hidden valley. Awful customer service. Awful food. I guess that’s why there was not a single soul in the building when I walked in… will never go back, and I urge others to avoid going here as well.

I called in an order driving home from work. It has been ages since I ate at Isabella’s. I decided on Caesar salad and Isabella supreme calzone. I was surprised with a cheese bread that accompanied the tasty salad. The calzone was quite a generous portion loaded with delicious ingredients. I dislike to admit the dipping sauce lacked flavor even after adding parmesan cheese and pepper flakes to it. I only ate half the calzone and enjoyed every bite

This pizza is remarkable. All we have ever gotten is an XL Shrimp & Ground Beef (trust…) with White Sauce:to go. Unbelievably light and the white sauce swap gives a great base by cutting the acidity and the shrimp are elevated by the beef and shine in this unusual yet fabulous pizza.
Now, the consistency varies wildly. We have had a range of pizza handed to us. Same order, waaaaay different looks.
The consistency is the biggest drawback about Isabella’s. For the year and a half that we have been ordering there, the same pizza (which with a tip is about $40) has varied wildly.
For an XL pizza with double toppings ordered, at times there have been about 8 shrimp and an equal amount of hamburger haphazardly tossed unevenly on the dough. The last time we order it was made by the owner personally it was a work of art with equal amounts distributed across the pizza.
It was a welcomed change to some underwhelming experiences
