I would be remiss if I did not give Nonno a review after my wife and I’s experience. First, to gather a bit of ethos—and in doing so, explain how I am a snob—I have traveled to 20 countries across Europe, have eaten at Michelin Star restaurants, and have tried diverse cuisine from all corners, and I must say, Nonno not only stands out but is hands-down one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. Between the atmosphere, the amazing host—and his brilliant playlist—the skillful/talented mixologists behind the bar (Tom and Anderson), and the sweetest waitress, we were just stunned by how perfect everything was. It was our first wedding anniversary, and they made it more memorable than it ever would’ve been with their hospitality and genuine care.
Regarding the food, the octopus was exquisite. There are no words to describe the chef’s touch, as they brought perfect balance to the meal in the most unique fashion; so much so that I was genuinely at a loss for words. Again, I have been lucky enough to eat octopus in Malta—where it is a delicacy and the national dish—this dish did not only stay on par with that, but was better than some of those Michelin Star establishments. Between the cocktails, the food, and the service, the experience was brilliant. I will surely be back, as it is now my favorite on this side of the Atlantic, and among the top five restaurants I have ever been to. Well done, Nonno!

Yesterday, I had an incredible experience at Nonno Pizza Cucina & Bar, a cozy and charming restaurant located on Main Street Hyannis. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the hosts were very hospitable. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, with a wide selection of wines and wonderful desserts to top it off.
I highly recommend trying the Crispy Octopus and Braised Short Ribs – they were both amazing and melted in my mouth. It was the best meal I’ve had all summer! The service was outstanding, and the friendly staff, including Fernando and Mariane, made us feel welcome and provided an unforgettable experience. Considering the reasonable prices, it’s definitely worth a visit.
Overall, I can’t wait to come back to Nonno Pizza Cucina & Bar again and again. It’s a must-visit spot with amazing food and great service. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Best Italian food on the Cape. Everything tastes like it was cooked by my Nonna. I usually skip Italian food because I am often disappointed. We’ve been twice and will keep going back even though it’s a bit of a drive for us. The service is so attentive – your plates and silverware are always replaced between courses, and the staff is so very friendly and professional. Get two desserts: one for eating there and then take one of their sweet Brazilian pizzas for home. You won’t regret it.

We loved they welcome you with a warm brioche with butter and caponara(mix roasted vegetables)
Our appetizer was a fry polenta…absolutely incredible.
I had the grilled octopus which was delightful…grilled to perfection and super tender, which is very difficut to find.
No even mention the basil sauce with the veggies that it’s something completely unbelievable
My husband enjoyed a short rib that was something incredible, we didn’t even want to eat because was so pretty the presentation…delicate…Elegant…something absolutely perfect.
We can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the items …specially the pastas that are homemade

5 star experience all around! Our wonderful service began the moment we walked through the door and were happily greeted by the host, Rodolfo. Our server, Iva, was more than accommodating- and made us feel right at home. The culinary skills in the kitchen are top notch, there wasn’t a food item we ate that we didn’t absolutely love. We will definitely be back for the wonderful service, delightful atmosphere, and delicious cuisine. 10/10 recommend!

I wanted to bring my bests friends who are from Brazil…(like the cheff of the restaurant) and they were extremely happy with place I choose.
We had fantastic food and great cocktails!
Funghi gnocchi…chicken parm, short ribs and octopus risotto were our mains.
We share the short ribs croquettes as appt and the brownie as dessert.
Superb upscale dining experience on the cape, great atmosphere …wonderful staff! Ana took care of us, and she was incredible.

My Mom saw great reviews about Nonno and wanted to go there for her birthday and we booked reservation for 6 ppl. It was lovely, friendly staff and patrons, the food was crazy good and very clean! Our party had a few pizzas, a Margarita, the Brie Parma Prosciutto and Meatball, along with Chicken Parm, Octopus and side Ceasar(chopped with bacon) and cocktails were great. I asked if they had any bday surprise options and out came a big block of chocolate mousse, vanilla ice cream over cashews and 6 spoons. We had a big celebration but the tables and bar area would be great to just pop in for a pizza and be $20-30/person.

We went to Nonno’s for the first time and loved it. The carbonara was amazing, octopus perfectly cooked. Drinks and atmosphere great. Only thing food took a little while to arrive, around 50 mins. Other than the wait time for the food, everything was great. Definitely going back.
