If you like authentic Thai cuisine, this is the place to visit in DC. Chef Bigg from Thailand makes the food at the appropriate spice level with authentic flavors. Lots of street parking nearby, great to visit for their drunken noodles as well as their Penang curry. Their mango sticky rice is also amazing alongside their Thai iced tea Nonetheless, amazing service with lots of free treats

The most authentic Thai taste restaurant I had tried so far in DC area. I saw is newly opened and gave it a try. I always prefer less salt in my food and I was worried because ò the other review, but surprisingly is not, and the spicy level it acceptable too. Larb salad is fresh and not to sour or salty, I just prefer to eat it cold. The pad thai is delicious, they cooked the right rice noodle so is doesnt get too sticky and then broke all apart, the taste & the amount of meat is decent, just too little bean sprout.. .
Will coming back.

I wanted to love this place because I like to support independent Thai restaurants that aren’t mixed with a bunch of other Asian cuisines. However, the whole experience was disappointing. I only tried the restaurant because I had a Groupon and the reviews were good. When I got there the server let me know that they no longer accepted the Groupons which was disappointing but since I was already there I decided to have lunch. The ambience was fine, a little bit of Thai decor and a photo of of Rama 9. I ordered green curry which is my favorite and it’s fairly easy to make so I’ve never been disappointed ordering it, this time was the exception. Although there was a lot of chicken and vegetables / mini eggplants in it which I was impressed with, the flavor and color was quite abysmal that I didn’t finish it and didn’t want to take the leftovers home. The chicken satay and peanut sauce were also lacking flavor. They at least sold Chang beer but paying $60 for a lackluster meal left me disheartened. Needless to say I won’t be going back!

Our first visit to Thai Love was a nice date night. The dishes we had were tasty and fresh, and the portions were huge. The owner was so friendly and told us his vision for the downstairs club/bar, Afterwork. Thai Love is a lovely addition to the neighborhood and I hope they find success here!

Incredible dish was made!!!
I’ve been through this restaurant for a while till I felt really tired after my routine “WORK…”.
After Work DC gave me unexpected experience for chilling and friendly atmosphere. BUT!!! The most amazing experience I found which is this Pad-Thai. This took me back to younger me, the taste is original as when I was in Thailand. With many beer varieties. Totally says, INCREDIBLE PLACE to chill out. I’ll be right back soon with my friends.

No frills, excellent food. If I lived nearby I’d be here all of the time. I’ve had green curry in dozens of restaurants in the US but their version is unique and delicious.

Their food is too salty, way too salty.
The Pad Thai is so salty it’s barely eatable. This is after I told the waitress to go light on the sauce because I have to feed it to little kid.
$100+ for lunch for three, and I had to find some food for myself afterwards.
I tried this restaurant because it has high Google reviews. I have no idea how it got so many 5 star reviews.

The worst Thai food I have eaten. Don’t go by the reviews. Totally misleading. We orders calamari that tastes like plastic that was deep fried. The green curry was nasty with burnt basil leaves. The red curry was mediocre and disappointing. The only good thing was the canned chilled beer.
Terrible!
Also, there was no indoors so while we were eating the mosquitos were eating us.

Scrumptious Thai foods and impressive services. We had Pad Kapow, drunken noodle, stir-fried chicken with ginger and Thai tea. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Disappointed given the incredible reviews, this place is average. Tom kha soup tasted like water and pad Thai was bland – definitely needed a lime. The fried rice was the best of the bunch. Panang was okay but I would have liked more coconut milk. Generally my advice would be go across the street if you want Thai.
